The hotel sits on the promenade, with the beach a minute from the hotel on foot. It’s clean, beautifully maintained and has a great breakfast. Staff was helpful and accommodating!
The property itself was amazing - so close to the beach, beautiful building, and pools/spa. Very nice and helpful staff. It wasn’t cheap but reflected the excellent location.
The reasons for a 4 star rating in a 5 star location was that we did have a super tiny room (1/2 the size of other rooms per the floor plan) and the spa area saunas were not working which we were looking forward to using.
They did permit us to have a later checkout which was super helpful to enjoy the beach in the morning before we left from our 1 night stay.
The parking was very tight and expensive the front desk staff was very helpful. The morning breakfast seemed a little chaotic. overall and very pleasant hotel. We love the indoor swimming pool and easy access to the beach.
Again no chair in room which we found strange. How to use desk if is no chair available.
The hotel was very nice, cleaned and organized. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The location is great, we parked the car at hotel and did everything walking. All restaurants around, ice cream, market, bakery, just couple steps. WiFi worked properly, nice shower, big room, big patio, breakfast was great (staff very nice)… The indoor pool is a plus! The only thing that we wish could be different is the outside pool closing at 6pm. The indoor one closed at 8pm, why the outdoor close early?Did not make sense for us, should be at least until sunset time. We checked in around 5:30pm and wanted to go to the pool, but was about to close. That was the only thing we didn’t like.
But I definitely recommend the hotel and will certainly go back there next opportunity.
Very clean lobby, room and breakfast room. Lobby also has a little library which was nice.
The outside swimming pool was not heated so it was a bit cold, also it 'closed' already at 18h which was a shame. Would not really like that in July/August. The outside area was also a bit aged in places, loose tiles etc.
The place is located very well at the promenade and beach, which is very easily accessible via the stairs at the pool or the cool glass elevator in the lobby.
The staff at the front desk was very helpfull, like with the parking situation.
There was little parking room left in front of the hotel and it cost €13 per day. We went middle September, but I can imagine the situation is more difficult in July/August. There was also a garage mentioned for €18/dat but we didn't see this.
Really nice hotel ! They upgraded me (I believe because I came late and had to sleep in the car because of some flight issues) and the room was huge with a great view ! Loved this place , gym big breakfast selection

Perfect beachfront stay
Perfect location on the beach… They offer everything! The rooms are just the right size and exactly what you need. The breakfast is absolutely fantastic!… The service is very much above the norm! There are so many places along the beach to pop in and get something to eat drink and be married. Lots of activities at the hotel and close by. Highly recommend! Oh! And… The prices are pretty reasonable considering it’s beachfront
Great location and service. Beautiful pool, but were unable to use it since all the chairs around it were reserved by people leaving their towesl on them since 6 am. This practice should be revised!
Amazing Makarska beachside hotel with lovely refreshing pool and seconds away from long pebble beach along which there were loads of restaurants and bars. Had good size beautifully positioned seaview balcony with agave-style plants overlooking the pool and the sea. We booked half board option and had great buffet food for breakfast and evening. Had not known how full of eating options this area was, but no regrets as high food standards at hotel ! Makarska was a thriving place with a great old town, harbour with boat trips etc, and great coastal paths (eg.we walked to Tucepi one day.
