We only stayed one night but it was great. The interior was beautiful. We had two rooms one was bigger than the other. Pool needs a little work but we enjoyed it anyway. Perfect for families. The staff were super friendly.

The history of the grounds and building is amazing and to look at it as a school or children’s home it was an amazing building. As a motel it is dated but the bathrooms are amazing and the staff friendly. I enjoyed my one night stay

The hotel has aged and needs to be renovated. While it is an old building, i could hear people walk around outside and in the room next doors due to the floor creaking. The room had a variety of different light fixture with several globes out. The air conditioning remot was broken. The room was spacous and th3 bed was reasonably comfortable. There was a restaurant and the food was ok, but limited.

The building appears to a former Abbey or Aged Care facility or similar institution. Fairly dated. Inadequately maintained, bizarre mix of decor. Needs reno or at least refurb. Friendly staff though a bit non-conformist (no staff identifiers). Breakfast was good. Isolated location, so surrounds are quite suburban. Close to the hospital. Reasonably priced though probably a bit high still for the facilities. The pool and pool gardens are a shocker.

The accommodation was very comfortable and the staff were helpful and courteous. The hotel is also in good order and I love the old worldly feel. What I didn’t like was lack of staff particularly at breakfast. Also the continental breakfast was just cereal, tinned fruit and three choices of bread. No fruit bread. I also had to ask for skim milk. When I did ask though the staff were very obliging. Also mushrooms couldn’t be ordered on toast. The garden also needs attention. A lot of this are just small things but if these were fixed they’d get a 5 but only a 3.5 today.
