Everything about this hotel was perfect for our first stay on the Amalfi Coast. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful in arranging transportation and even sending something we had left behind. The room was spacious and sparklingly clean with a gorgeous view of the water. We loved the quiet town of Maiori to use as our base for exploring. Added bonus is that the car can drive right up to the hotel entrance, so no steps or narrow paths for carrying luggage. We loved this hotel and location!

Hotel San Francesco was absolutely wonderful. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. The restaurant was excellent, with delicious food and great service—we genuinely enjoyed eating there. The location in Maiori is perfect, close to everything while still being relaxing and comfortable. We had a fantastic stay and would absolutely stay at Hotel San Francesco again.

An absolutely excellent stay from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond, catering to our every need as parents of a one-year-old — thoughtful, warm, and genuinely helpful throughout. Very nice hotel located right across from the beach and the hotel beach club. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Clean hotel, just a bit dated. It was nice to have a balcony that faced the beach and main road. The hotel bathroom could use better soap, shampoo, etc. they had a squeeze bottle of dove. The breakfast had a good variety of food that changed slightly each day. I would recommend having more fruit options. The cost of the beach club usage was $40 euro per room, which was a bit excessive for just using a beach chair, umbrella and a towel.

The staff were extremely welcoming and kind. Being a first time international traveler, they were very patient answering all of my questions and pointing me in the right direction. I believe his name was Danilo… he was an absolute rock star. There was not a moment where he wasn’t creating a memorable experience for all the guests!
