"We stayed at this apartment over the summer as a family. Communication with the host was excellent—very responsive—and the neighbor was especially helpful (as the owners were away). "Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und gemütlich, liegt an einer ruhigen Straße und hat eine Aussicht aufs Meer. Im Haus ist alles was man braucht vorhanden.Es gibt eine große Terrasse mit Gartenmöbel, Sonnenschirmen und zusätzlich eine elektrische Markise als Sonnenschutz. "What can be said that has not already been said? Wow! We loved that the staff were as enthusiastic about a hotel, formerly a prison, as we were. The art work in the room/cell and through out the building was amazing, thought provoking and modern. The room in "prison chic" was very comfortable and spacious for two tired cycle tourists. Plus, a super secure place to store our bikes, much appreciated. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of variety and worth the price. Our only regret is not being in Beziers when the restaurant was open for evening meals. Definitely one of the most unique places we have stayed and the most memorable. Merci to the whole team that make this place a joy to stay in."

"This is a small (about 10 rooms, I didn't count...) and quite simple hotel. One notices immediately that the owner, who runs the hotel himself and is very friendly (plus his English is very good! My French, unfortunately, is not...), invests a lot of time and care in running the hotel. The hotel is located in a small side alley (about 10 minutes by foot from the station) very close to the famous channel running through Narbonne and you have all sorts of restaurants and shops nearby, the cathedral is also only a short walk away. My room was small, but nicely renovated (great sense for colors), the bathroom was clean and had everything one needs (but expect to bring your hairdryer). Please note that there also seem to be rooms without a private bathroom, so check this when booking. You can select the components of your breakfast, coffee/tea, juice, baguette, jam, yoghurt etc. The breakfast is very inexpensive (you pay by the components you select) and it's a great way to ensure that food is not wasted. I would 100% book a room again whenever I come back to Narbonne!"
