Never Again

Staff were rude and disinterested, room was clean but locks broken off bathroom door and large cracks in the wall. The breakfast I had was the poorest of quality, i was very please to leave and never return!

The property was clean and tidy. The only problem was checking out, the front door should had been open as the side door should be an Emergency Exit only as mentioned in my review.

Good value hotel room, but quirky

Just off the A4 road, so road constantly in use. A great location to get to, although ever car in the carpark seemed to have to accelerate wildly to get up to 40MPH on leaving. The property has a huge car park, although only a single cars width passage to enter and leave. I never had a problem getting in or out. Unlike other reviewers, my room was nice, there was a remote for the TV, and milk, orange juice and water in the mini fridge. the mini fridge was not quiet, but was only competing against the road noise. The shower was warm enough, and quite powerful, but was cold unless the button was pushed in to get past the "normal range" The toilet light was movement activated, which was interesting when on the toilet or in the shower, as I was plunged into darkness. The staff were mostly friendly, although slightly scared looking. My evening meal was excellent, although not cheap. The breakfast was "continental", and was included, was self-service, but was boxes of cereal, milk, tea and coffee, some bread (for toasting), some yoghurts and some packaged croissants.

Very good food, dreadful accommodation

The food from the restaurant downstairs was very good. The room was abysmal as the window opened out to the internal fire escape corridor. As such the room was essentially a badly ventilated oven. A portable AC unit was provided, but to use it you had to leave the window to the corridor open meaning you could wave to anyone going past, but not talk to them as the AC sounded like a jet. Further to this the corridor had motion sensing lighting so all night it would randomly come on and illuminate my room.

Lovely hotel

A warm, friendly welcome on arrival. Room was clean with a comfy bed and pillows. Breakfast cooked to order with plenty of options. Nothing to complain about and will certainly stay there again.

Accommodation fairly average, as with many hotels today. Bed ok if under 6ft. TV basic. The food was an Indian Restaurant - Quality of the food was excellent, but watch out for the service charge. Overall the hotel and restaurant were good for the price.

Pants! Wouldn't recommend

Someone's underwear left in a draw, marks/stains on the sheets, chaotic check in, shower head broken, bed was so uncomfortable and faced a busy main road. We had to ask multiple times for towels, as there was only one in the room. Breakfast was ok but nothing to sing about. Very disappointing. Wouldn't recommend

Served it purpose room very clean. Only 1 towel 3 pillows on the bed to sleep 2 No bath mat so slippery floor when getting out of the shower plus nowhere to put shower gels etc very awkward . Breakfast was random you had to pre order the night before and it was very basic.

Great staff, clean, warm generous sized room, lovely breakfast- only very minor issue is that the TV wasn’t tuned and couldn’t get signal - and curtains to small for the window but that’s all I could fault - would definitely recommend and would stay there again
