"What a marvelous stay we had at Casa Mia at the Villa Camino Alto! It was a perfect retreat for our family- we couldnt have asked for a better experience. We had a week long stay and spent most of it at the property and in Turbacco but also ventured into Cartagena proper a couple days to explore the walled city and seaside areas which was an easy drive away. The property had everything we could need including beautiful flowers and scenery, a pool that we enjoyed multiple times a day, as well as a fully-equipped home. With the 2 stories and 3 bathrooms there was plenty of space for us to spread out and not be on top of each other. The kitchen had everything we needed to make out meals and the outdoor gazebo space was our favorite spot to enjoy the meals. The openness of the home was appreciated in the warm days- even given warm afternoon temperatures, with the windows and doors wide open and fans on we were cool enough to relax in the home. The AC worked great and we utilized that some evenings to cool off as bedtime approached. The beds were comfortable, everything worked as expected, and the property was immaculately maintained. "our booking included free parking for Trucks and RVs, but even in our small 7 M RV we were rejected and forced to pay additional. Also, the WiFi did not work. Neither in the lobby, nor in the room during the entire stay. Manager was not interested to listen to our feedback and just confirmed that the information on Expedia was "wrong"."

"The property is beautiful with its modern decor. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The dining options were plentiful. I definitely would love to stay again if some type of transportation option was included. The hotel is approximately 30 to 40 minutes from the heart of the city where more of the locals live. The problem we encountered was getting a Uber in the morning; no one would accept the ride. The front desk staff would request a taxi, which took approximately 10 minutes to get there. We ate breakfast while we waited. On days when we scheduled excursions with pickup included, we had to contact them to learn if they would be able to pick us up and all stated we were to far. So we technically had to pay for transportation twice. This is definitely not a reflection of the hotel. The hotel could offer a transportation service twice a day that could drop you off near the clock tower at 8am and pickup you back up at the same spot at maybe 8pm. This could make them at least more marketable, since they are so far away. We never had a problem getting transportation from the city. I would love to go back and see if they make one of the adjacent store fronts an indoor pool. "
