We loved our stay at Smartr Madrid Chueca. The location was easy to find and central/walkable to everything we wanted to see. The area is very lively in the afternoon and quiet, but not unsafe late at night. The staff was kind and quick to respond to any questions via WhatsApp. The place was clean and comfortable. We would book it again happily!

This property is very conveniently close to Puerta del Sol. There is no outside noise at night. It is clean. The problem appears to be poor management. The phone number is provided but it is never answered. They should make it clear that all communication will be by WhatsApp. They should make it clear that an entry code will be provided on the day of checkin. Handle of washer broken, no plug for kitchen sink, walls very thin so any noise from adjacent apartments is noticeable.

Perfect location

Hotel was in a great location right in the hear of Madrid centro. There was a night club across the street but everything was completely sound proof. We would definitely stay here again.

The location was great. There were cafés in less than 10 meters from the front doors. We were less than a 10 minute walk from a market. We were also at the centerpoint between places like the Royal Palace and Parque de El Retiro. The living space itself was clean, had good appliances, and great water pressure.

This property was in a great location. Is very utilitarian. The shower is positioned way too high, which causes a mess that you have to clean up. They even leave a mop in the bathroom for you to use because they seem to anticipate that happening. Also, the Wi-Fi was extremely unreliable, which is problematic for overseas travelers who are trying to download apps and map out there Trips for the time that they are in Madrid.

The location is fantastic. Other than that, the apartment didn’t look the same as in the photos. Everything in it was the most basic thing ever leaving a cheap filling to it all. It was clean. There were unpleasant noises of running water from the water hitter, so we had to turn it off. And once in a while a noise that sounded like someone is coming into the apartment. We only stayed there for one night. I guess it’s worth the money. Over all OK nothing more. We stayed at Apt 5A.
