This was one of the better hostels I’ve stayed in. It was clean, fresh and the communication through WhatsApp made everything super simple. It was close enough to everything to explore. It was great.

The location is the best but the room is very small, no real place for suitcase. The shared lobby is excellent where you can have access to a kitchen and fridge. There is even a public laundry machine. There are free lockers you can leave your luggage’s until 8pm the day you check out. All self service. Easy.

Comfortable bed with black out shade. Good for a night but not much more. Shower pressure was low. Shower was so small you had to open the door to turn around. Check in was on WhatsApp. Kinda weird. Good location.

Road and building under construction. Very noisy. Very noisy all the time since rooms are not sound proof. You hear doors closing and other travelers using the public kitchen. There is no lobby. Place runs like an overpriced hostel. Great location. Nice bed. Shower way too cramped

Location, location, location! This property is steps away from two of the major museums in Madrid, making it perfect for a quick trip to the city. It was, however, one of the smallest rooms I’ve ever stayed in with hardly room for our 3 suitcases. The room also featured a shower that would barely fit anyone who is a few pounds heavier than I am. The lack of anyone onsite to help with problems was a downside as well. We never received a check-in email that was sent to a rarely used email address that left us not knowing how to get into the property. Luckily we arrived when the cleaning staff was there to help us. Also we never got an answer to our request for an early check-in that we sent through the hotels.com app. Still it was relatively quiet, despite the shared common area and very convenient. The breakfast provided at extra cost was meager given the price, and I’d opt out of it if ever staying there again.

The property was clean, soaps and lotions were provided, the digital communication worked well, and it is in a good area. They also had a good suggestion for a ride to the airport, which we used. I recognize this is a Pension, but the three-star rating is because the room is very small, and the rates are way overpriced: over $300.00 for a Saturday night. After getting there, I realized that a 4-star hotel, Villa Real, 150 meters from the location, had true 4-star rooms and services for about the same price. We won't use this brand again, due to such small room sizes and overpricing.

What I didn't like about the property is that although there is a window in your room, it looked out into another window in the building directly across the way. However, the good part of this is at least this window opened and no noise to mention whatsoever during my stay. You can easily adapt after staying for a day. The accommodation was very clean including the breakfast common area; the breakfast choices and being able to select these ahead of check-in were most appreciated and well-represented along with the special morning postcard was a very nice touch; the hotel cleaning staff was most friendly as well as the property manager and her recently appointed new associate both helped me in opening my room safe just before checkout. Thank you again to both of you for being so helpful with getting this safe open so I could make my next connection on time. Martin :)

I had a great stay at the numa Madrid. The room was quiet and the bed quite comfortable. I have no complaints at all. 5 minute walk to the Thyssen; 10 minute walk to the Prado; -5 minute walk to the Reina Sofia. Perfect for an art lover. I recommend, however, an iron and board for those among us who appreciate being neat.
