「This was supposed to be a romantic adventure for my husband and I but at the last moment he was unable to go with me so it became was solo adventure. Admittedly driving on Madeira Island can be surprising because of the narrow roads and fast speeds the locals drive. I was a little nervous trying to find the location but once I understood how to open the gate to the property I was amazed by even the driveway.
