"Very rustic with a HUGE emphasis on hunting. There were bear, turkey and antlers mounted on the wall. The place was a nice size. It was nice to have the bathroom down the hall from the bedroom. The living room couches and bed were comfy. Some of the fixtures weren't quite right. The antler chandeliers had cob webs, the sink had a hole where the sprayer was supposed to go, and the outlets weren't all secure in the wall. There was a lot of junk outside the cabin and we had to use our own towels...

"Our family was looking to unwind after a stressful year, if you are looking for peace this is the place! Seasalt cottage had everything you could ask for beautiful clean house. Caring Hosts! Any questions or if you needed anything Christina had the answers. Beds were comfortable, rooms a good size. Big kitchen and plenty of cooking was done on the beautiful stove. Views amazing, lots of deer around. "

"This was a great place to stay to get away from it all on Maine’s Bold Coast. The house was simple and clean with can’t beat views of the ocean from a wall of windows in the main living area. There is a nice private small lawn in the back. Though the piece of small coast just down the steps is rocky, there is a very nice sandy (at lower tide) beach a minute drive down the road. Jonesport is quiet but a good base to explore surrounding natural areas, hiking."

"This property is not what is shows at the time of booking. The gravel road is so eroded that even an SUV is not near capable of reaching the property. The place has not bathroom and no hot water. The place has limited cold water too. No potable water and you will be stuck in the place at night since the owner is not helpful. Also, we found a snake skin in the cabin and when informed the owner about it. The owner started laughing hysterically. This place is creepy and unsafe, and if you want to...

"An absolutely perfect place to get away from it all! Awesome sunsets, quiet breezes, and the wonder of giant tidal changes. Not another person in sight the entire week...just eagles, deer, and a few gulls. The Seaside Sanctuary was exactly what we expected, perfectly cozy with everything we needed for a getaway to recharge and reset. "The rooms are immaculate, well furnished. The teo tows if rooms thst were not damaged in thr fire are well back from the road and very wuiet. The restaurant next door was an mmrxcelkent place for breskfast. This was my sixth return visit snd i found the motel continues to be very welcoming. "

"This is a very together little house. Really couldn''t improve on anything significant. Very simple, everything where it should be, and thank you very much, the walls are not covered with cute inspirational sayings! Dock works fine--we are geezers and didn't use the canoe, but if it had been warmer we would have. This is a great place to just kick back!"

"We had an awesome stay at Little Bay Retreat! The place is immaculately clean and so comfortable as a home base for exploring this area of DownEast Maine. The views from the deck are constantly changing with the tide, so much to just sit and enjoy. Visited Lubec having lunch at the old sardine factory overlooking the water, went to West Quoddy State Park and walked the trails and visited the lighthouse, went to Jasper Beach and discovered a wonderful nearby restaurant south of Machias called The Public House, affiliated with West Branch Farms, and enjoyed lobsters from Capt Matt eating them in the Gazebo as the sun set over the bay. Highly recommend a stay at Little Bay."

"This place was perfection. My husband and I brought out two dogs and truly enjoyed our stay. The house was cute. The view was great. A perfect spot to watch the sunrise on the walkout balcony. The deck is so spacious and lots of options for sitting. THE absolute best part were all the little touches and TLC that Catherine put into the place. It’s very evident as you walk through the house and the grounds that Catherine is a true host to her core and hospitality is her #1 goal. She just wants you to have a great experience. From the comfortable bed, to the cozy living room, to the mud boots (in a variety of sizes), to the gift bag, her hospitality is on display. This is the first time using VRBO, usually use another site and have stayed at about 30 places. Out of all the rentals we’ve stayed at, this is the first that I felt that way. I would definitely recommend. "

"Cabin right on the page was perfect. Lake is gorgeous. View is 180. Beautiful deck and furniture. Cabin is updated and lovely. Kitchen is nicely sized and very well furnished. Bathroom is also nicely sized and very nice. Living room is very comfortable, well sized, lots of windows, good tv... all good. Bedroom is small but very workable, bed is very comfortable. Host was very nice. "
