The place is great for the price , good breakfast buffet. It’s nearby stores and restaurants. But you should be able to ascend and descend staircase, also internet is spotty and have to always reconnect every time you get out of the room

we chose the island instead of a village to experience more of the local life. the Sunrise hotel we can compare it to the typical Rimini hotel but with 100 times better reception and climate. Always ready to help. some faults in the details but .... what does it matter ??????!!!! we had a great time thanks guys !!!!

A good 2/3 star economical property for budget travellers. Rijash the bellboy and Tanya the tour rep are very helpful but the rest at the front desk are unenthusiastic. They are there and usually cordial but that’s it. They don’t go the extra mile to make you feel welcomed. Rooms are decent and clean with TV, AC and fridge. Bed is comfortable but hard, pillows are soft. Toilet is clean with hot water and good water pressure. However, towels are thin and old. Location wise is good. Near the local and bikini beach with plenty of shops around. There’s no elevators to other floors but could still be disable friendly with rooms on the ground floor.

Szeretem ezt.a.hotelt, mar másodszor jártunk itt. A tulajdonos nagyon segítokesz, a staff kedves. De a reggeli, és a svédasztalos vacsora egyaltalan nem izlett. Ha hotels.com, vagy agoda rendszeren foglalasz, figylej ida, mert a rendszer odaadja a 3 agyas szobat 4 szemelyre. A szallodaban ingyen kaptunk extra agyat,de fizetni kellett volna erte. Ez nem a szalloda hibaja.

좋았으나 단점도 있는

좋았던 점은 호텔 바로 앞에 진짜 맑은 바다가 있어서 스노클링 하면 물고기 많이 볼 수 있어요. 리셉션에서 타월 빌려주니까 편리했어요. 단점은 도착하기전에 언제 도착하냐고 묻지 않아서 ㅜㅜ 왓셉을 해도 답이 없고 숙소에 전화 몇번 시도했네요. 아이콤 페리타고 마푸시 들어가기전에 간신히 연락이 되어서 픽업을 받을 수 있었어요. ㅜㅜ 속이 다 타들어갔었네요~ 방에 발코니가 있어 좋은데 개미가 넘 많아요. 참 호텔 식당은 그저그래요. 나시고랭시켰는데 뭔맛이 이런지 ㅜㅜ

Hotel sympa bien situé

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour , l hotel est bien situé ,le personnel est très dévoué ,franchement je leur dit un grand merci. L'hotel est propre , le petit dej est correct ,plutot local ,oubliez les croissants ! Ils proposent des sorties à des prix vraiment raisonnables pour les Maldives ,n'hésitez pas à aller faire du snorkelling et nager avec les tortues . Par contre on était au 4éme etage sans ascenseur si vous etes pas sportif précisez à pas etre trop haut meme si la vue est sympa ! Les chambres sont belles et propres mais pour moi la literie était trop dur j ai pas l'habitude sinon tout était bien ,rien de négatif !

Stay on Maafushi Island to enjoy Sunrise

The hotel was fine but with lot of stairs especially if you got room on 3rd or 4th floor. Lobby was good with sofas, billiard table, Mini football table, but no access after 8PM. We have ordered pizza that was good and was delivered in time. Breakfast we did not like and in my opinion much better not to include in the room package even free. The staff was not responsible and always they are busy with their mobiles. Hotel is located on the back side or the opposite side to the jetty station and is far from the main area but the hotel provides bicycles for free to move around. WiFi works fine and I can easily perform the important tasks. Lighting in the room and the amenities is good.

Sunrise Beach and Spa rocks

The hotel and its staff, the island ( Maafushi) and the various trips ( snorkeling, fishing, island hopping etc.) were just super. All was made possible by the extremely helpful staff of the hotel. We strongly recommend the hotel and Maafushi for all kinds of tourists. Special thanks ( rather indebtedness ) to Hassan, Fazil and Sadhi for taking extremely good care of us four. Helping us find the right trips, helping us snorkel and taking those great underwater photos for free !!!

今次訂了海景房間，真的每天可看到日出，名乎其實是日出酒店，日出非常壯觀美麗，房間挺大，有一張大床和一張單人床，非常適合一家人渡假，另有雙露台可以休閒一下，和另一邊可以晒下洗完的衣服，非常方便，整體我對日出酒店非常滿意

Séjour de rêve !

Très bel hôtel. Les chambres vue sur mer sont magnifiques. Beau balcon. Lit confortable. Bon petit déjeuner buffet. Les buffets du soir à 10$US sont bien. N’hésitez pas à demander un sun bed pour mettre à la plage privé. Les excursions sont à prix abordables comparés à une autre île où nous sommes allés (Omadhoo)

Quiet, clean, very friendly

Nicest thing first: we came home and found the bed covered with flowers as a birthday surprise for my girl friend. When we came home after dinner the same evening, we found a birthday cake. So friendly! Nice hotel next to the beach, and only shirt distance from bikini beach. They offer snorkelling tours that we can really advertise at good rates. All the staff was very friendly. We are sure we will come back!

The hotel in very good condition, clean. What I find like is the food, very poor and not tasty. Also I didn’t like that there is a lot of cats and they ask for a food when you dine. And the island is very very dirty. Constraction everywhere. One small beach for whole island.((( Not happy overall.

Amazing staff and comfortable rooms

Amazing property on the beach. Staff couldn’t have been more lovely. From meeting me at the jetty, to helping me with tours, to arranging transport back to Male...they always provided help with a smile. Room was spacious, very clean and had a balcony that was shaded by a nice tree. Even had swing chair to relax which I sat in for hours. Their tours are great too, had a lot of fun on the sunset fishing tour and snorkeling. 2 minutes walking distance to the bikini beach. Breakfast buffet was just ok. There are better food options on the island for a reasonable price. I also stayed at Arena for a few nights. Sunrise has larger rooms, is much more quiet and costs less. Honestly wish I booked my entire week with Sunrise instead. Would absolutely stay again!

Best bang for the buck

This is a great choice if you are not looking for the most expensive resort. Very nice, helpful people and they offer top notch excursions for less. VERY nice oceanfront rooms! No elevator though.
