The room with the bicycle above the bed is wonderful, very spacious, very clean and very quiet. The huge bathroom has double showers and double sinks and feels very luxurious. The aircon is powerful and efficient, and there's a small fridge and a kettle with some tea bags in the room. It's really excellent value for money. Check in is at a bar in Via Sedile from where you will be accompanied to your room a few minutes walk away in the historical centre. This room is accessed via a flight of stone stairs the steps of which are higher than usual which could be problematic for people with mobility issues as there is no lift. Caty recommended nearby Magno for dinner and it turned out to be a winner. Breakfast is at Cafe Portanova 4 mins walk away and consists of a hot drink and a croissant or other pastry. Turi is a compact and nice little town with friendly inhabitants and it's worth staying in if passing in the vicinity.

The rooftop restaurant was a true highlight, combining outstanding cuisine with a wonderful atmosphere. The hotel's central location made it easy to walk to Bari's best shops, restaurants, and historic attractions, making it the perfect base for exploring the city.
