Nice room, but narrow stairwell (with a backpack on). Lovely breakfast. Nice outside space to sit.very difficult to get a table for dinner in Lynmouth or Lynton. (Book ahead)

Hillside was a very traditional Guest House. It was clean and comfortable and the room we had had was large with an en-suite bathroom although a bath with a shower attachment. Denise the owner made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived and throughout our stay. She was very helpful, giving us advice on places of interest and where to visit. The breakfasts were great and plentiful and set us up for the rest of the day. Overall we had a great stay and would gladly stay again. Fully recommend.

Lovely stay.

Nice guest house situated next to Watersmeet, we had a nice room looking over the river. Denise was very friendly and a good breakfast. I would recommend staying here.

Very friendly & helpful owner. Quiet setting and room. The house has character and is in a great location for easily accessing everything in Lynmouth. Delicious breakfasts. The furniture, decor & facilities are perhaps in need of a little modernisation, eg no shower in our en suite (only a bath), slow kettle, few electrical sockets.

We really enjoyed a welcoming stay the breakfast was delicious and the room comfortable and clean. The location was ideal easy walking to all pubs and the seafront. The owners could not do enough to make us feel at home would highly recommend.

excellent time with denise. she was super nice. gave wonderful info on area. always there. her porridge was incredible! terrific service. historic property. one of the must see locations in england. romantic and outdoorsy. great hiking for all levels.

I was made to feel really welcome and was upgraded to a room with a view of both the sea and the woods. The breakfast was very tasty and the portion size was very generous. Denise was very friendly and more than happy to have a chat. It's very conveniently located and there's a car park less than 1 minute away from the B&B.

Wonderful little quirky hotel

Great little place right in the centre of Lynmouth. The hotel is dated but very comfortable and clean. The manager is wonderful very welcoming and her husband cooks a great breakfast. Nit that there is no parking with this B&B but it is £5 per day in the local council car park or £20 for the week. The breakfast room had lots of regulars who return each year and we met some lovely people

Hillside House is a few minutes walk from the centre of Lymouth and the bottom of the cliff railway. The room was comfortable and clean and the owner friendly.
