A little gem

Cute little cottage with everything needed. The sauna on the site (cost 110 NOK/hr) was pretty good too. Amazing views.

We loved our stay there. We stayed in the large cabin. It was super clean and beds we’re comfortable. Super Cosy to spend evenings in front of the fire. Hege was very responsive and even loaned us free snow shoes for the stay. The fact that snow mobile and husky sledding tours run right from the property (dog sledding was 6min drive) was so convenient and we even got a discount since we were staying there. Can’t wait to return!

We stayed in one of the cabins. It was a good choice as the location is central to the major hikes and with easy access to the ferry over to Tromso. Service was friendly and polite, and the amenities where good as well.

I stayed in a charming little cabin at Svensby Tursenter on my tour of Northern Norway. It had everything inside you would desire of a little cabin. The host was excellent and explained very well what there was to do. I recommend staying at this cabin.

Camping site in Svensby

The place is practically next to the Svensby ferry station, from which you can get to Breivikeidet and drive to Tromsø from there. The place is a small camping site for caravans and with a few cabins. We had a small cabin with kitchen, which worked well for us. The kitchen seemed renovated recently. The cabin had a small bedroom with a bunk bed, but the top bed wasn’t sturdy enough for an adult. We slept in the bottom bed which was a little wider but it was still quite a tight space for two people. There was no air conditioning, which means the bathroom didn’t dry up after a shower, and it was quite hot to sleep (can’t open the windows because of mosquitos).

Wir hatten sehr schöne erholsame Tage während des Winters. Die Vermieterin war telefonisch erreichbar und jederzeit hilfreich. Die Hütte war bei Ankunft geheizt und weihnachtlich gemütlich beleuchtet. Die Betten waren durchgelegen, trotzdem haben wir gut geschlafen. Als Camper haben wir das Bad in der Hütte genossen. Für uns ist es absolut empfehlenswert.

Todella siisti mökki

Meillä oli mökki numero 3 ja se oli kuin uusi. Mökki oli yllättävän tilava. Keittiö oli hyvin varusteltu ja uuden näköinen. Pöydän ääressä oli vain neljä tuolia, meitä se ei haitannut. Makuuhuoneissa oli mukavat sängyt ja ikkunoissa pimennysverhot. Kerrossängyt olivat niin tilavat, että alasängyssä olisi nukkunut ihan hyvin kaksikin. Sijainti oli hyvä. Kauppoja tosin ei ole lähellä. Pääkohteemme oli Blåisvatnet, upea vuoristojärvi. Matka sinne oli kivikkoinen, mutta kannatti käydä. Ei sovi koiralle.

Sehr lieber Empfang, obwohl wir sehr kurzfristig gebucht haben. Sehr schöne Hütte mit Kamin und Holz. Heizung schön warm. Sehr schöne Lage! Schneemobil oder Huskyschlitten je nach Verfügbarkeit möglich. Wir kommen wieder.
