  • Experience late summer and fall on Minnesota’s North Shore from your basecamp at Lutsen Mountains. Hike the Superior Hiking Trail, ride the gondola, explore waterfalls, mountain bike, golf, or take a scenic drive along Lake Superior—all just minutes from your door.

    After a day outside, relax in the indoor or outdoor pool and hot tub, unwind by the fireplace, or settle in for a comfortable evening with family and friends.

    Our comfortable 2-bedroom, 2.5-bath townhome sleeps up to 7 and offers a full kitchen, comfortable gathering spaces, and a convenient Lutsen location. Dogs are welcome, too.

    Fall is one of the best times to experience the North Shore, with crisp evenings, brilliant foliage and miles of trails to explore. Whether you're planning a family getaway, hiking weekend, couples trip or fall-color escape, you'll have Lutsen Mountains and the North Shore at your doorstep.

    Explore the nearby Superior National Forest, where you can hike, bike, or simply immerse yourself in the stunning natural beauty. Back at the property, you'll find a fully stocked kitchen, allowing you to whip up family meals. We had a wonderful stay! The location was great. It’s a beautiful property, clean and well cared for. The hosts were on top of all communication leading up to our stay and during. The facilities were awesome. We spent a lot of time at the pools. We will definitely be staying here again.

Our stay was great from start to finish. Dave and Kristin were very responsive to any questions we had and the place was exactly as advertised. Close proximity to indoor/outdoor pool area and just an overall great location in general and peaceful setting. Will definitely look to rent again.

Great Location, beautiful surroundings and very peaceful. The unit definitely shows wear and could really use some basic upgrades like toilets that aren’t all stained and need 3 gallons of water just to flush, if they flush. Some stains on ceilings and some mold present which would all be easy to fix.

Great place to enjoy a weekend of skiing. Many options to stay busy on and off the slopes. Pool and hot tub area was easy to access and nearby. Restaurant takeout was a quick walk away, too, on a night when we did not want to cook. Terrific and timely communication from the host.

Perfect location, really nice property. You can ski right out onto the trail that connects down to Moose Mountain (note that depending on skiers' experience/ability). Otherwise it's only a minute drive to the main base as well. You can walk to trails, a restaurant, and see the mountains from the condo. The owners were also accommodating and responsive. It's a great property, strongly recommend.

The lodging is ideally located for a true ski-in/ski-out experience. I last stayed in these units back in 2000, and while they have been well maintained, they are beginning to show their age.The kids really enjoyed the pool (not attached), and the adults appreciated the ability to prepare meals and take breaks as needed. The townhome is well equipped with pots, pans, a coffee maker, and other essentials.One area for improvement would be the kitchen lighting, which could be brighter. It also would have been nice to have access to the ski storage cabinet outside and the downstairs sauna, but unfortunately, both were unavailable during our stay.Overall, we had an enjoyable visit and would rent here again.

Weekend getaway!

We had a great weekend in Lutsen! The property was great for our family and had all the amenities we could need! We used the pool and hot tub, sauna and fitness center. The restaurant on site was great too with live music in the evenings as well. David was super easy to reach with questions and responded quickly to all of our questions!! Thanks for a great stay.

Girls Trip

The four of girls had a blast! We stopped at Black Sand Beach which was right on the way. During our stay we hiked at Cascade Falls, went to North Shore Winery, Grand Marias, and took the Gondola ride! We enjoyed playing the games that were at the VRBO and having our own sauna/spa night in. Thanks for the stay!

Great place to stay and play!

Stayed at this beautiful spot for a golf trip. The property is as described. In a great location and close to amenities. There was plenty of room for four guys to hang and the unit is well stocked. Kristin and David were great to work with and the check in process was easy and efficient. Thanks again!

The host was very responsive. I was disappointed to arrive at 10 pm and have a full dishwasher of dishes to put away. Also, the condo is in need of some TLC. There is a black spot on the ceiling (looks like black mold from the upstairs bathroom) and 2 of the 3 toilets were very stained. There were no hot pads to use while cooking and no dish sponge/rag to do dishes. The space suited our family just fine, but for the area and the price, we had higher expectations.
