「Our stay was pleasant. Staff was courteous and friendly. The room was clean and spacious. Its an old building but well kept. Nothing fancy but enough for what we needed. We were out all day & went back to hotel to sleep. Walls are thin like other people mentioned, so u could hear yr next door neighbors tv. It didn't bother us, cause it was on while ours was too. There is a bar across the road so on the weekend people coming and going can be heard, but then again, we had our windows...

「Great place to stay. The room was spacious, I had a great view of the harbour and the bed was very comfortable. I thought the mini fridge was a great bonus and the bottled water was appreciated. Varis House is located very close to many bars, restaurants and cafes etc. The next time I travel to Shetland with work I will 100% stay here again. 」

「古い建物なので、部屋や廊下の狭さはまるで船室のようで、ただ、それも面白かったです。トイレの水がなかなかでないのが難点でしたが、タンクに水を追加すれば問題ないことがわかりましたし、浴室の水やお湯は問題なく出ました。設備は古いけど、それを補う面白さと心配りがあり、とくに、バスマットが各自用にあり、さすが老舗の心配りだと思いました。とても気にいりました。」
