The owners and staff treat you like one of the family. There are 18 units surrounding a swimming pool and bar area. You sleep upstairs and the bathroom and sitting area are downstairs. The 1606 Restaurant offers delicious food. On Saturday night, there were local musicians playing and the owner encouraged the guests to join in by playing the maracas or dancing.

Enjoyable stay

The staff at Village de Santo make this place. They are so hard working, super helpful, aim to please and are attentive to detail. Great breakfast, kids loved the pancakes! And we loved the scrambled eggs. Nice layout of rooms, with central pool and lovely surrounding gardens. Beautifully tiled bathroom, you need a little patience with the shower but once underway it was the best! Thanks for a lovely stay :)

Nabil (owner) and his staff were so friendly and helpful during my stay there. Apartments are kept clean, the food is lovely. New Years Eve dinner accompanied with live music (including staff taking part) and some fireworks. It's a good place to relax, just what I wanted on a holiday.

Nabil the hotel owner and all of the staff working at Village De Santo were all fantastic and super friendly. Restaurant food was great, yummy cocktails. Staff can organise any tour or scuba diving for you, super helpful. Good location 5 minute drive from town.

Nice small hotel with great staff

Really nice hotel on the outskirts of Luganville. Cannot fault our room and good self catering option. No oven but a microwave/kettle etc... You will need to take a taxi to the beach and town unless you hire a car - hotel is not on a beach. Pretty quiet at night - all windows have fly screens and shutters but no glass. Very family friendly - especially with younger children.

A delightful stay.

We have just spent 10 delightful days at Village de Santo and found the hospitality and facilities excellent. The staff could not be faulted and the position, near the water and a short $2.40 taxi trip to the centre of town, was just what we wanted. It really is a "Village within a village", so there is no elite Resort-style aloofness. Yet the compound is secure and delightful, with an excellent restaurant and bar. The Saturday night local string band was a delight, (thanks David). Thanks especially to our host Nabil, for his urbane hospitality. The visit of the Vanuatu Prime Minister for lunch was an unexpected surprise!

The location was good, the restaurant was great with plenty of choices and the staff very pleasant and friendly, enjoyed a 9 night stay with husband but I don't think it would be ideal for young children because of the high stairs and the fact that the loft only has wire rails.

Lovely tropical layout

The Village de Santo looked after us well for a one night stay. The layout next to a refreshing pool was delightful, and the offerings in the restaurant delicious. As with most Vanuatu resorts, the staff were very kind, friendly and helpful. The accomodation is a little out of town, and next to a busy road with a little associated traffic noise. But a well maintained and pleasant accommodation stay in Luganville.

Overall the hotel is very comfortable. It is a small place with a few chalets but ideal for a comfortable stay. Staff are absolutely great. Rooms are in good condition with basic kitchen facilities. Restaurant food is good

スタッフの対応が大変良く、快適に過ごすことができました。昼前にホテルに着いてしまったため、荷物だけ預けようと思ったのですが、すぐに部屋を清掃し案内してもらえました。ホテルのレストラン料理はとても美味しかったです。近くに住んでいたら、料理だけでも食べに来たいくらいの美味しさです！部屋の広さ、清潔さ、スタッフのサービス、レストラン料理、どれもすばらしかったです。 残念だった点はWIFIが部屋でつながりにくいこと（ロビーでは使えます）、街中から少し離れていること（中心街まで徒歩15分ほどでしたので個人的には問題なかったですが）でしょうか。 またサントに遊びに行く際は利用したいです。

Beautiful and spacious accommodation

Beautiful and spacious accommodation just outside of Luganville town. The staff were delightful. It was easy to access transport and tours. The resort serves amazing food and has a lovely tropical feel. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent service and atmosphere

The staff were extremely helpful with all our trip plans. Even with last minute bookings, they went above and beyond to assist. We enjoyed dinner at Village de Santo both nights of our stay - there was a vibrant atmosphere with live music and delicious food. We would stay again.
