Beautiful two-room apartment just 100 meters from the swimming lake and right next to the forest—perfect for hiking, cycling, mountain biking, and relaxing. The newly renovated and tastefully furnished one-room holiday apartment with kitchenette and dining area is on the ground floor and has a terrace. The shower entry is raised.



The accommodation is very quiet in the Schöntal district, directly by the forest and only 150 meters from the Schöntal bathing pond—no through traffic and in a 30 km/h zone.



The apartment is the ideal starting point for extensive hiking and trekking tours through the untouched German-French biosphere reserve Palatinate Forest/Northern Vosges or for trips to the many castle ruins and impressive rock formations in the area. Relax at one of the many bathing ponds in Ludwigswinkel, enjoy great mountain bike tours, or take leisurely bike rides with hardly any inclines through the Sauerbach Valley to Wissembourg in Alsace. We are happy to give you tips for your excursions.



A visit to the barefoot park, mini golf, a small park, and excellent restaurants is also worthwhile.



Guests have free use of one ladies’ and one men’s touring bike. Touring and mountain e-bikes are available for an extra fee. Dog trailers are available free of charge.



Ludwigswinkel, a health resort, is the perfect holiday spot for guests seeking relaxation, variety, nature, sports, and peace. You can do without a car for your entire stay; beautiful tours are also possible in winter.



A petrol station is in the neighboring village 3 km away. You’ll find a variety of excellent restaurants in Ludwigswinkel and the surrounding villages.
