We really enjoyed our stay at The Lamplighter Inn. The room was spotless! The breakfast was excellent! The owners were very lovely people. Highly recommend this place!
The property was very well cared for and peaceful. The breakfast was excellent. Little amenities like hot chocolate and fresh baked cookies were a plus. We would highly recommend this bed and breakfast.
We had an excellent experience at the Lamplighter. The hosts were fantastic, friendly and helpful. Attention to detail was amazing, from the special and delicious breakfast, attending to our dietary preferences, to the beautiful decor in the house and the offered amenities. It was a quiet and convenient location, very walkable to restaurants and attractions. Lovely rooms, common areas and grounds. We would love to return!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hosts were great - friendly and knowledgeable. The historic home which is the B&B is beautiful and in a good location. Our breakfast was delicious! We would definitely recommend staying here and hope to return.

Wonderful hosts and super comfortable rooms. I’ll be back!
Dan and Jen were wonderful hosts. We stayed in the Monet room which is on the main level. Room was perfect. The house was so spotless and breakfast was cooked up fresh with local ingredients and delicious. Highly recommend.
The home was beautiful and impeccably clean. Jen and Dan were so friendly, and the breakfast was incredible. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Jen and Dan were so welcoming and hospitable. The house was lovely without being stuffy at all. Breakfast was immaculate! And nice touches all around, including guest mini fridge and homemade chocolate chip cookies! Highest rating!
We had a great stay at The Lamplighter. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. Our room was pleasant and comfortable. Breakfasts were outstanding. I can't think of any way it could have been better. Enjoyed the availability of beverages and cookies. Enjoyed sitting out in the gazebo.
Beautiful B&B with very congenial, welcoming hosts. Room (the Cassatt room) was small but comfortable and nicely decorated as pictured on the web site. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Room was well-lit with comfortable bed and pillows. No refrigerator but a refrigerator was available outside the room. Coffee, tea and snacks available at all times in the dining room. Delicious breakfast prepared and served on the patio by the host. The Inn was located in a quiet residential area.
Wonderful B&B experience; I would definitely stay here again.
We recently stayed at the Lamplighter B&B in Ludington, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. The hosts were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The property itself is beautifully restored, with five guest rooms that are well-maintained and very clean. The bed was really comfortable, and we loved the common spaces, both indoors and outdoors—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.
Breakfast was a real treat, freshly prepared by the hosts. They served two courses, with one being a delicious hot quiche with sausages from the local butcher and fresh salad on the side. We appreciated that they asked about any allergies or preferences ahead of time. Plus, having tea and coffee available all day was a nice touch.
Overall, it was an amazing place to stay in Ludington. We are looking forward to coming back and staying longer next time! If you’re looking for a cozy, welcoming spot in Ludington, we highly recommend this B&B.
You will not be disappointed in your stay at this wonderful B and B. This is our second time staying here. The hosts are so kind and caring. They will go out of their way to help and accommodate your needs. If you have a restrictive diet, Jennifer is careful to help with those needs. The Inn itself is old and charming. The mix of old and new is just right. Our room, the carpenter room, is one of the smaller rooms, but we did not spend a lot of time in the bedroom. We were in the area to see family. There are several other places you can sit and relax in in the Inn, as well as seating outdoors. Dan, Jennifer`s husband, is also so helpful and he makes a great waiter! Together they make a great team.
Absolutely! Here’s a glowing review for your B&B experience in Ludington, Michigan:

Dan and Jen were outstanding hosts. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Their dedication to ensuring a memorable stay was evident in every aspect of our visit.
Breakfast was a true highlight. The meal was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, showcasing their commitment to quality and flavor. It was the perfect start to our day.
Overall, the whole experience was incredibly serene and refreshing. This B&B is a gem in Ludington, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing getaway with exceptional service. I look forward to returning!
