"Our family of 3, me, my wife and our three year old son loved our stay here. We got a very warm welcome from the owners, misses Wiese drove us around the beautiful premises in a golf car, accompanied by their sweet dog Argos. The holiday house is 100 years old, authentic and has all you need. Our son loved to climb and play on some recent fallen trees, every day it was on the to do list. The cottage is quite old inside and is in need of updating and modernising. We heard mice in the bedroom but this is to be expected as the house is in woodland. Overall a pleasent stay."

"Das Häuschen liegt in einer schönenkleinen Ortschaft mit 350 Einwohnern. Das Haus ist aus den 50er Jahren und entsprechend einfach gebaut. Es hat einen schönen Garten, Gartenmöbel sind vorhanden. Die Lage erlaubt Besuche in der Lüneburger Heide, der Südheide und dem Elbe-Wendland. Zwei der 6 noch aktiven Klöster liegen im 10km Umfeld, sowie mehrere sehenswerte Städte und Ortschaften."

"Liebevoll gestaltet und eingerichtet. Für Unterhaltung war gesorgt, wie Bücher und Spiele und natürlich - wer möchte - auch TV und Radio. Gute Verdunkelung und schallisolierte Fenster, sodass von draußen kaum etwas zu hören war; allerdings über dem Studio ging es zeitweise recht polternd zu. Ansonsten war alles sauber, Küche-/ und Badbereich, doch an der Decke in der Küche und teils auf den Balken sah man deutliche Spuren, dass dort länger nicht kontrolliert wurde. Doch das war nicht...

"Wir, zwei langjährige Freundinnen, haben uns "auf halber Strecke" im Wendland im Haus von Lilian Volmer getroffen und ein wunderschönes, entspanntes Wochenende dort verbracht. Schöne Wander-Möglichkeiten in der Nähe, traumhafter Sternenhimmel in der Nacht, Sonnenverwöhnte Vormittage auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf die Pferdekoppel und und abendliche Gemütlichkeit am Kamin. Die Matratzen und Betten sehr komfortabel - alles drei Schlafzimmer top. Wir sind begeistert und kommen sehr gerne wieder....
