Great hotel with large rooms and very comfortable. It is very walkable and also it is easy for taxis / shuttles to get to since it is not too far into the pedestrian area (still within the old city and very close to lots of shopping and restaurants).

Really enjoyed my stay at the Palace Hotel. I walked the wall around Lucca my first day. Went to the Opera performance, took a guided tour of the town. Plenty of small interesting shops. Enjoy your travels. Ray.

Perfect Location and Lovely Property.

A smiling friendly welcome, spotlessly clean large room with a super comfy bed and a spacious bathroom with excellent big shower. What more do you need. Lovely property in the old town only a short walk from the railways station. Ideal for exploring or relaxing. Nice little bar on site to with a good selection of drinks including local artisan beers.

This was an extremely easy property to find. The location is very close to the old city wall which is a walkable path. The staff was helpful, when we needed some food stored in a refrigerator. The kitchen staff provided a very nice breakfast daily with many options that suited both American and European tastes. Breakfast cappuccinos were delicious each day.

Beautiful hotel within the city walls.

This is a very nice hotel just inside the city walls, in an excellent location. The staff was very helpful and professional, and the junior suite I occupied was way beyond my expectations. Excellent breakfast with many good choices.

I’d gladly return

The staff was very helpful and personable. My room was spacious, the bed was firm and the pillows were too flat and firm, and I like flat pillows. The breakfast was wonderful, a large variety of baked goods, hot/cold proteins ,and fruits.

Great location in an historic hotel

From check in to check out - it was wonderful. This building dates back to 1514 - yet it has every convenience. The breakfast was also outstanding. It is convenient, and has parking. I would stay again in a minute!
