THE COZY COTTAGE, A Great place to hang your hat.

This Beautiful Cozy cottage is located in the small town of Post City Texas. Located a few blocks from downtown and walking distance to a local United Grocery store. The Cottage is a small house, with a queen size bed, side table, dresser, a side chair and an Armoire. The Bathroom is small, but has a large walk in shower. The kitchen is set up with lots of cabinets and comes complete with a small table and 2 stools, it has a large refrigerator, an apartment size stove and a Microwave
The space
The cottage has a front porch to set on and relax at the end of the day, It also has a fenced in back yard with a small laundry building with washer and drier.
It has a coffee maker and I also supply shampoo and soap for bathroom.
Other things to note
The Cozy Cottage is walking distance to a United Grocery store and only 2 blocks from the Post downtown shopping area.
Fisherman and Hunters are welcome to stay at my Cozy Cottage, only a few miles from White River Lake and Lake Allen Henry where you can find great outdoor fun.
Lots of Wonderful gift stores in our little town and a Great Drive in, with car hops, and Georges Restaurants with wonderful, tasty foods you just can't beat it.

Beautiful little house.

Very nice little house. Bathroom is a bit clostrophobic but other than that it is an excellent place to relax a few days. Fully equiped. The town is very friendly as well.

Sweet Cottage

This is the cutest little cottage in a quiet neighborhood. The backyard was so inviting. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything I needed. I would definitely stay again.

Nice place to spend the night.

We stayed here on our way out and booked again to stay on our way home. Conveniently located for us. Nice yard for the dog to roam. No hesitation to recommend it.

Beautiful

This little cottage was a beautiful place for my fiance and I to stay while visiting with family!! The bed is very comfortable and you have a lot of privacy inside and out in the back yard and the host is very sweet and patient!!

An excellent over night stay while traveling through texas. Full kitchen, TV, bed and bathroom- quaint looking with modern updates for comfort. The type of place you want to stay at!

Cute little cottage. Nice fenced back yard great for relaxing while your pets stretch their legs. Host is gracious and responsive. Absolutely recommend if you're passing through and want to stay somewhere quiet away from the city.

Loved my stay!

I fell in love with the Cozy Cottage. Nice backyard for my dogs and plenty of room for us inside. Honestly, couldn’t have been a better fit for us. I will definitely be staying there again if I need to!

Perfectly cozy!

This cozy cottage delivered in all areas. The bathroom was pretty small, but functional. The bed was comfy with plenty of quilts for the chilly nights. Plenty of room in the kitchen for making breakfast or just having coffee. Would definitely stay here again if I’m back in the area.

Perfect for Our Short Stay

We especially liked the small, privacy-fenced backyard. It was perfect for our newly rescued dog, who is anxious in new spaces. With the warm, breezy weather, we enjoyed being outside. This would be our choice in the colder months without an indoor sitting area to watch TV.The owner took great pains to offer small, welcome amenities such as lovely bath items, a warm welcome note, and other notable finds—good coffee, creamer, and Spring water. The location was a quiet neighborhood, but walking distance to the grocery store if needed. The price was perfect.

Traveling stop

We were looking for a place to stay the night while traveling through town, it was right off the highway had a carport to park under a comfortable bed and a kitchen with a coffee maker, I would stay there again if the need arises.

Coming thru town and stayed the night. Nice tiny home. Very clean and cozy. Neighborhood is much older and a little loud with passing vehicles at night.

Great tiny cabin.

The tiny cabin was great- very reasonably priced, full of amenities, right in town, and Theresa was a great communicator. In full transparency- my husband is 6'2" and barely fit in the bathroom. He couldn't sit down on the toilet without his knees scrunched up against the vanity, so if you're tall (or larger than a size large) this might not be the place.

The Cozy Cottage is cozy!

This is an adorable property with all the amenities one needs for a stay. The toilet is not the best for a taller person, as it is very short. Check-in process was very smooth, and the neighborhood felt very safe, although the street was a bit busy. The host could consider putting pavers from the back steps into the yard, as I was fearful I would track dirt in coming and going from the back yard into the house. I would definitely stay here again if I'm on my way through/to Post, TX. My dog and I enjoyed sitting on the front porch and relaxing after a long drive.

Very cozy

The owner kept in touch with us. We arrived at 10 p.m. with our puppy after 11 hour drive - what a relief to find the house so cute and cozy inside to soothe our anxiety and fatigue from a long trip to an unknown city. We sat in the backyard and enjoyed the mild breeze at night. We enjoyed sitting in the chairs out in the front porch. House was so clean…

Perfect

Stopped at the Cozy Cottage with my husband and small dogs on our way from San Antonio to Denver for a night. This was the perfect place to rest and get a good night sleep before hitting the road again. The host messaged me right away after booking and provided amenities such as coffee, tea, spices, soap, and even a thank you note. This place is very quiet, clean, and comfortable. Probably my favorite VRBO I’ve stayed in for a very reasonable price. There is even a dog bed and a fully enclosed backyard for my dogs to enjoy. Loved my stay in this little town.

I recently stayed at this cottage and had a mixed experience.The inside of the cottage was very clean, and I have to say the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. The bathroom was also clean, though very small, and the shower entrance was extremely narrow—about 17.5 inches wide. This detail should be included in the description, as a medium-sized pregnant woman or a larger person would likely have trouble entering the shower.On the downside, the neighborhood outside the property did not feel as clean or well-kept. The Wi-Fi was also difficult to connect to since only the password was provided, not the network name—adding the Wi-Fi name would help future guests. Instructions for the coffee maker were incorrect, which was frustrating.I also texted the property owner to let them know I was leaving a day early but never received a response.Overall, aside from the shower issue, the stay was fine for one person. With a few adjustments and clearer communication, this cottage could be a more comfortable option for future guests.JBG
The shower entrance is very narrow. The bathroom is very small.
