Perfect for watching monks in charming LP!

When the monks walk past your door each morning you can't help but love this little hotel but there is more to it than just that. The beds are really comfy (ok, the sunken bath in the room is a crazy trip hazard but amusing too), the outside balcony perfect for a late night beer, and the staff are all very helpful. The restaurant without a name over the road is also a gem!! We'd happily have stayed longer - we loved Luang Prabang and this perfectly placed residence!

Over rated. Air con above the bed noisy and chilling no matter what temperature you select. Black mould in the shower wall/floor join. Water from shower leaks into toilet floor making it slippery. Hot Water flow very low... not acceptable. Breakfast choices awful and unappetising.

A lovely comfortable hotel with all amenities

The hotel was very comfortable, and the staff very friendly. I wanted to stay an extra night beyond my initial booking, and I had no hesitation about staying at this same hotel. Air con and wifi are both strong. The only small downside is that the location is the wrong side of the old town for the night bazaar etc, but this only means an extra 15 minute walk or tuktuk ride. I would recommend this hotel!

outstanding....the staff and service was A+. Location perfect to walk to all the sites in Luang Prabang, between the two rivers and a short walk to the night market and traditional handicraft shops. friendly and quiet hotel

I had a really peaceful time while staying at this hotel. The People are friendly and easy to communicate in English. The neighbor of this hotel was so quiet at night that I could sleep very well. Then, in the mornig I had a breakfast at terrace. That was confortable cozy time.

Comfortable, quiet and centrally located!

We loved this hotel. It’s quiet. It’s tucked away from the Main Street but close enough to reach it in five minutes, it’s clean, it’s comfortable, and the monks walk right outside it in their morning procession! Really recommend!

Lovely hotel that needs a little bit more TLC

We had a fabulous room with a jacuzzi bath - that staff didn't know how to make work - thank goodness for the wonderful new manager who got this sorted out for us once he was made aware of the issue. Staff are a little lackadaisical - once morning one of the staff settled down to watch a video on her phone with the sound up very loud in the guest area while we were eating breakfast. At this price point we'd have expected slicker and more consistent service. It is still a great place - close to everything we wanted to walk to in the Old Town but far enough away from the hustle and bustle to be quiet

Lovely Lao-style accommodation on quiet street

Lovely Lao-style accommodation with lots of wood, louvred shutters on the windows and doors, Lao art. Our room was large, the bed comfortable, and the plumbing facilities obviously new. Very friendly and helpful staff, and a decent breakfast. I particularly liked that they didn't charge extra for another cup of coffee. The inn is located on a quiet street at the west end of town, only a few blocks from Wat Xieng Thong, on the route of the monks' alms walk. My only relatively minor complaint was about the rather strange bathing/shower arrangement. There's a large stone tub in the middle of the room, with ceiling and hand shower attachments. Worked pretty well, with excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water, but I found it hard to get in and out of the tub and to avoid spraying water outside the waterproofed area. Also, I think this arrangement made the room a bit humid.

ラオスの古い住居を現代風に改築したゲストハウスという感じ。街の中心とラオス最古のお寺との中間にあったロケーションは良い。値段も安いし、朝食もテラスでできたてを提供してくれる。早起きして出かけなくても、ベッドで寝間着のまま、窓からルアンパバーン名物の托鉢を眺めることができる せっかく素敵な石のバスタブが部屋にあるのに、お湯の温度が5分も経たないうちに入浴に適さないほど下がってしまい、お湯を貯められない。長時間かけてぬるすぎる風呂に入ったが、かえってストレスが溜まる

もう少し安くしても良いかな。まあまあギリギリ合格。通常、窓の外の木製のドアが締め切ってあるので、電気を着けなければ、、部屋は真っ暗。かわったつくりだ。 朝は鶏の鳴き声が近所から聞こえてくる。都会暮らしの旅行社には、普段は聞けない機械だ。
