For solo trip and a very short stay, this Guesthouse fit perfect to my purpose. Location is just great, the room is quiet clean and comfortable, all basic needs -only it would have been great if hot shower available… considering all, price is very reasonable!

Lovely hotel and staff

I loved this hotel. Staff were brilliant from reception to housekeeping. Nice courtyard to sit outside (sadly people were smoking at times). Great location near the nightmarket.

Great place in quiet part of town

Amazing balcony and location (perfect for morning alms ceremony). Ac did not work first day but they were quick to fix it. Solid room for the price

Good location in a safe neighborhood. Close to Mekong River and Main Street with tourist shops, restaurants, night and morning market. Bad: Shower leaked like crazy. Your whole bathroom floor was wet after a shower hence why there is a drain in the floor under the cabinet sink. Poor toilet plumbing. Had issues with flushing.

The property itself was very cute. I really liked the terrace area. It is shared, but when I was there, no one really used it. The room itself was OK. The TV wasn't set to recieve any channels, and the bathroom counter is made of wood (there is not separation between the showering area and the sink) so I can see mold forming. Also, seems like the front desk does not speak English well. I asked them in Lao for them to no clean my room, but when I came back to my room that afternoon, they had come in and cleaned it... I guess my Lao was really bad...

I had a satisfying stay@this house. I was at the first floor w/ easy access to the front entrance. Staff were friendly and speak understandable english. Special mention to Cha who is accomodating and even walk you to your breakfast area by Mekong river. It’s an old house w/ original interior (love the wide plank wood floor and ceiling), toilet seat needs to be replace ASAP. We need a floor towel. They keep replacing my hanged bath towel. Location is very convenient and walkable to lots of places of interest. It’s a local immersion hotel, away from the noises and commercialism of Main Street. Brother mouse is around the corner wherein u could volunteer an hour talking to local youth who wants to learn conversational English.

フロントにほぼ常時1人いて、何を相談しても丁寧に対応してくれます。 お店の案内、行きたい場所への観光案内などなど。 特に中性的な印象を受ける若い方が、非常に丁寧でした。 出発のタイミングが合わず、チップを渡し損ねたのが、ラオス旅行唯一の心残りです。 設備的には、シャワーが2日目だけ水しか出なかった時間があったくらいで、他は特に問題なし。 ラオスルールで、夜はとにかく観光客も含めて静かに過ごすので、快眠です。

The property is an old solid hard wood two story home. My poor mom has to climb quite a long way of stairs on the second floor. Our room has a long crack in the middle so we got mosquitoes bites for two nights. The door has wide gap between the floor as well. The room we got is small for two beds. Thank goodness we only have small carry on and a tote bag. We got two bottles of water. As for the bathroom it is a good size. The widow has a wide gap between the glass and the cement frame so more mosquitoes got inside. The air conditioner is okay. It took a long while for the room to stay cool. The one key with the keyring was a bad idea. I mean if you keep the key on the ring which attached to the key card to keep the air conditioner on your room will be so hot when you return. I was able to take the key out of the ring, it took me awhile to get the small ring off of the card. I was there for two nights so it is not too bad. If I was to stay longer I would not stay here. It is ok place but not for long stay. I can hear the ladies next door talking loudly outside on the balcony and in their room. It is like a next door bedroom in a big house. We don't have safe in the room or refrigerator. I saw a refrigerator outside the rooms. I guess we all supposed to share this outdoor refrigerator. The staff is young men so if you don't ask or greet them they will be watching something on internet or looking down on the laptop or the phone. They are helpful if you ask them.

Pros: Staff are very helpful. Balcony is great. Water pressure and temperatures are good. Beds are on the softer side. Location is excellent. Wifi worked well. Cons: The property could use some repairs.

Undermåligt guesthouse

Problem med el, spracksde och smällde i eluttag. Det rann vatten från taket när grannen ovanför duschade. Extremt viktigt att få förskottsbetalt för både rum tilläggstjänster såsom tvättservice. Frukost under all kritik och 1,5-2 kvarter att gå från boendet, inte jätteroligt när det är 15 grader utomhus under turistsäsong. Avstå frukosten och köp på stan istället, finns gott om bra alternativ. Detta är ett guesthouse, inte ett hotel! 2 snarare än hotels påstådda 4 stjärnor. Rekommenderas inte!

Old townにあって、ナイトマーケットからは少し離れていますが、托鉢を2階のテラスから見えるなどよかったです。 部屋は清潔で問題はないのですが、シャワーの水圧が弱かったので少し減点しています。

The place is convenient for walking to main street, safety to walk even at night going back the guesthouse. The bathroom is not that clean that I suppose to expect towel only one per person no bath mat on the floor the whole bathroom are wet .
