「Everything about the house was perfect. Such a beautiful setting beside the lake, and so close to Denmark town we could easily walk in. Cannot recommend this place highly enough - a very tranquil space to come home to at the end of a day exploring this beautiful area.」

「The house was excellent for our needs with 5 adults and 3 children. The house was well presented and fitted out. Beautiful bush location, very quiet and peaceful. A bit of inconsistency with the listing re: check in time and internet. There is wifi but was very weak and woukd drop out (if you could connect). Would highly recomend this house.」

「Property is lovely but the place is listed as dog friendly but there is no fenced area so animals are in house or on leash all times and property is close to main roads. Does take away some of the relaxation as you can't sit on deck enjoy a bbq without worrying where your pet is」

「Had a amazing time at Shadforth Rise for 8 nights in the beautiful area of Mount Shadforth in Denmark. House is immaculately clean and modern but still cosy. Really enjoyed the log fire and also the convenience of the aircon. The view is spectacular. Loved the big bathrooms and kitchen. As a party of 2/3 it worked perfectly for winter. If you were to use every bedroom in the colder months an oil heater in every bedroom/theatre would be ideal. Just a suggestion for guests in the warmer weather...

「Albany weather being what it is, we didn't see the sunrise until our last morning. It really was spectacular - and right across the water from the house. From our arrival (to a warm and welcoming wood fire) to our departure (a very chilly morning) we found Sunrise a lovely place to stay. Heaps of room, well equipped, and an amazing welcome pack! Including fresh fruit! Jurien and Connie were so responsive, and helpful, even though we didn't have any problems we always felt we were being looked...
