Peaceful chalet near Bromley, Magic, Okemo, Mount Snow, and Stratton

"Chalet was cozy and perfect for an October weekend getaway with my husband and our Labrador retriever. We loved having coffee on the deck in the morning. Was very peaceful and quiet. Bathrooms and kitchen updated and clean. Michelle and Dave are great hosts and gave thorough check-in instructions and suggestions for things to do and places to eat. They were extremely responsive and helpful when we had a minor issue with a door lock (note: do not lock the door that leads to entry mud room from hallway) Would definitely stay here again!"

"The four of us had a lovely stay here. Julia is a fantastic host. The house is very big, 3 couples can stay comfortably in the 3 upstairs bedrooms, plus there is another smaller room with bunk beds in the basement. The bedrooms, living room, family room are all big, comfortable and very tastefully furnished. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit, and you also get a lovely view of the hills from there. Strongly recommended."

"This was our fifth year at this property for a writers' retreat, and it's simply the best - a lovely old farmhouse with an incredibly well equipped kitchen for cooking meals, loads of space, big tables for writing, a basement gym with plenty of equipment & weights for a solid workout, a hot tub, and the cutest little coffee shop within walking distance, too. Already looking forward to next year!"

"The house was beautiful. It was easy to find and the host gave very helpful directions for entering the driveway/property. It was the perfect size for my husband, 2 kids, and I plus we were very happy to find some a nice home that was dog friendly. We like to cook most meals at the house when we are away and this home had plenty of everything needed. The only furniture that might have been helpful was a coffee table, but we brough the little patio table inside and that worked perfectly. The rooms were nice, no dressers but plenty of hangers, and space above to lay folded clothes. The only negative thing I can say is that when we arrived, we found an empty container of the spa cleaner. The main attraction for our mini vacation was the hot tub and we had planned to be in it quite a bit. I messaged the host and he told me not to worry about it, but by the next to last day the water was pretty filthy and we didn’t enjoy the hot tub. But it was very enjoyable up until then. Otherwise it was a very relaxing experience at the house, and we were close to all of the nearby towns, spending the most time in Manchester. The house was also near a great supermarket, and we enjoyed dinner at The New American Grille, and had the absolute best breakfast at Maple Leaf Diner. We had a great stay, highly recommend this house."
