Nice little place to stay. Probably excellent in winter with the lift right next to it. Short drive into Manchester, and only 4 minutes from J.J. Hapgood general store where the breakfast sandwich and coffee were perfect.

It was a late check-in after 10 o’clock at night Robin the Night Shift worker made for a pleasant arrival after an exhausting trip. The stay was short, but was very enjoyable and clean.

The lodge was amazingly convenient on the main highway. Gorgeous views. Friendly staff. Robin was working and he was very professional and friendly. Only reason I would not give it five stars is that the room itself was very basic and simple. Very outdated. Reminded me of a Ramada Inn. So $350/night (off season) and the room wasn’t very nice. Also the highway in front of the lodge is very loud with nonstop loud pickup trucks and cars. I understand this isn’t the hotel’s fault, but just something to be aware of. However, a very positive experience.

We had a mountain view room so were treated to a beautiful moon rise at night. The room was clean and spacious with plenty of towels and pillows. One note - the attached Trailhead restaurant is not open in the summer.
