Welcome to Cheerful House! Feel refreshed and inspired every night in this open & welcoming, 3 bd / 1 bath home, only 4 miles to Downtown Louisville, 2 miles from historic Churchill Downs and 6 miles from the Louisville Muhammad Ali Int. Airport. Plenty of groceries, fast-food & casual dining nearby. Home is perfect for families, business travelers & couples looking to enjoy a comfortable, welcoming space! Check out the deck, spacious fenced back yard and outdoor seating area with gas grill! Home has an inviting and spacious living room area with 60" smart tv loaded with Roku, and Netflix. Plenty of seating. There is a full kitchen, stocked with dishes, utensils, pots, pans, blender, and coffee & tea station. Downstairs has 1 full bath, 1 master bedroom (queen bed, smart tv, & closet), 2nd bedroom (full bed, smart tv, & closet), and full laundry room (washer, dryer, iron & board). The 2nd floor has 3rd bedroom (full bed & smart tv), tv lounge room (sleeper sofa (twin bed, smart tv and desk work station.) Spacious fenced back yard, deck and outdoor seating area with gas grill! Home has plenty of parking on paved driveway (3 cars or 2 SUVs). Active urban neighborhood with plenty of helpful and watchful neighbors. This home is only 4 miles to Downtown Louisville, 2 miles from historic Churchill Downs and 6 miles from the Louisville Muhammad Ali Int. Airport. Plenty of groceries, fast-food & casual dining 1-3 miles.

This is a property that lists better than it actually is. Terrible and scary neighborhood, garbage cans left in yards for many weeks, garbage dumped in street in front of house that was never moved, house smelled old and musty, some appliances did not work, beds were uncomfortable and very worn, upstairs AC unit was duck taped into place, Carpets are very dirty and worn, when we arrived the yard had not been mowed for several weeks, the remotes for the TV's either did not work or were missing batteries. The TV's hung crooked in every room, several of the lamps did not have lamp shades. More too list but out of time and patience.

Pictures make this house appear more presentable then it is. We arrived and the maintenance guy was there replacing a water line. Delaying check in a few hours. No propane for grill,No condiments ,no seasonings very few pans or amenitiesBlack mold in bathroom. Whole house Poorly cleaned before we arrived.

Kentucky Derby Trip

Location wasn't too far from downtown or Churchill Downs. Short drive to anywhere we desired to go. Home was spacious and accommodated our needs. Could have been a bit cleaner. Odor in all the carpets and some stuff didn't work 100% correctly like the kitchen faucet and shower. A lot of handles came off the kitchen cabinets as they were missing screws. Not many cups/plates.

College Football Trip

Came in for a college football game. The pictures look really good but the house was very smelly. The place was not very clean and had an odor. We had to go to the store and buy Lysol/frebreeze. It did not help. My family and I only stayed one night and left the next day. The shower was not working well and was leaking. The backyard was not well kept and most of the blinds were very dusty. The neighborhood looks sketchy but no one bothers you. The neighborhood ended up being ok.

Nice place- poor communication

Overall the property was nice. Pros- clean, green space, quiet neighborhood, lots of sleeping space. Cons- communication with the property manager was very difficult (we asked to modify our dates if it did not cause a penalty and he went ahead and modified our trip anyways and when I asked to reset the dates back to our original trip it took literally a month or more of back and forth to make that happen so as long as you don’t need to make any adjustments your trip will go well), and a few things needed repair (ice and water machine were broken on fridge- they did leave ice for us, but on a sign on the fridge they said they left water for us, but didn’t actually) and the front screen door was broken so nothing too major just more minor inconveniences.
