"When I arrived at this property the owner finally answered the door, she said she had no knowledge of my booking. Finally I had to email her a copy of my confirmation. This wasn't made any easier by her statement that "she spoke no English" - the website clearly states multilingual staff. (In fact it later became clear she did speak English). The 'living-room' is actually set out as a shop and did not feel welcoming - I was not invited to use it anyway. The only restaurant in Salives was unable...

"The Gite du Capitaine is in a small village in the countryside. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast and dinner provided was good. The room and facilities were excellent. The house is rustic and full of antique furniture in great condition. "

Douche sans rideau ce qui mouille toute la salle de bain, trace de chaussures dans notre chambre, piscine pas propre, verres sales (en plastique), serviettes qui sentent mauvais, pas de volet.
