"Patti and Dick were the best hosts, so kind and friendly. Checking in was very simple and easy. The location was enchanting on The Rouge River. Our cottage for four nights exceeded our expectations. Very cozy, clean with all the comforts of home. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking tranquility, peace and quiet. Our dog was also very comfortable.Arlene & Frank Schaeffer"

"Excellent experience - very helpful and friendly staff, well designed property, nice details, pet friendly, nice atmosphere. Very cool resort style experience and staff that actually have customer service training and skills (something pretty rare for the West Coast lately), highly recommend for a fun weekend if you are in the Medford area. It is apparently the only Compass Margaritaville on the West Coast so kudos to the Ko Kwel tribe for a fantastic hotel choice."

"It's an older motel that has been renovated in the past several years. It has a few minor dings on the walls, but that happens with use. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean and tidy. It had everything we needed for a night's stay."

"We arrived late on a rainy night ! Found our room turned on the fire place and enjoyed a glass of wine in the living room . The lay out was perfect ! Beds were perfect comfy . Loved the spacious bathroom . ! It was so nice I look forward to coming back !"

"We were on a Hiking trip as a group of active older adults. Whenever we travel, we really aren’t looking for high-end accommodations with all the bells and whistles. We just need a nice clean quiet place to sleep and this certainly fit our expectations. I would definitely stay here again. The town itself is small and there are not any fast food restaurants like a McDonald’s for breakfast. There are convenience stores. You need to make sure that you let the staff know if you are checking in late. They were very accommodating, but it was good that we let them know."

"We got there later in the evening and had a little trouble finding the sheets for the extra futon. I messaged the host and she got back to me immediately (after 9PM!) and helped us. She is a real pro of a host! The river is magic!"

"The exterior was covered in spider webs. The interior also had spider webs in several areas. Window seals were packed with dead bugs. When I reached out to the host about either sending someone or we offered to clean if given 1 nights refund and we we're told the YMCA takes care of the exterior and the host lives an hour away. I was denied my request for a 1 night refund to clean. When we went to use washer and dryer there was a load of towels still in the dryer and when we went to use the dishwasher it was also full with a load of dishes. The sprinklers ran a lot making it hard to use the yard for games or just relaxing."
