"Cute and quaint. Close enough to the beach which was a 10 minute walk away. There are no staff in this location so asking for extra towels and toilet paper was awkward but the staff were very helpful and nice. The park for children is right across the street which was great for my 8y old and 6y old but the walls did not have sound proofing so sleeping at night was difficult for a light sleeper such as myself. Loved the town!"

"We had a 3 days visit in Villa Lara! It was perfect for us, the owner Dino was a super host and upgraded us to a better room with a terrace, had fresh new baked croissants every morning and also made us cappuchini. We also got a bucket with ice when we brought home some cava. The rooms had a very good standard and was cleaned every day! "Good location to visit Bari and surrounding towns. But...bedding stiff, no complementary water and, the deal breaker, poor AC. Despite our repeated complaints (we stayed for three nights), the room was quite uncomfortable to sleep in; can't imagine how it would be in July/August. It must be that they "throttle" the AC to keep the power bill down. We turned down the thermostat, miserable air flow in any case only to wake up because of the heat: the thermostat was "magically" reset to 23C in the middle of the night. Not acceptable and less so in a "four" star hotel. If you value sleeping in a reasonably air conditioned room, after a beautiful day touring, this is not the place for you. Salute!"

"The hotel is extremely helpful and efficient. I called to say we would be late checking in and there was no issue at all. There is a 27/7 reception desk. We were able to call for a free shuttle service from the airport to the hotel and again to take us back again in the morning. The staff are friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend it and stay here again."

"This is a beautiful old villa set in acres of olive trees. One couldn't ask for a more tranquil setting. The hotel is brand new and is showing signs of some work to be done. The roads are pretty rough and could use some better maintenance. This is important expecially at night when driving in and out can be a bit sketchy. We stayed in the Trulla house which is a charming traditional house away a bit from the main property. Watch your head on the low stone doorways! Overall, in a year or so, once they work out the kinks this will be a wonderful property. The surrounding area is lovely as well and there are two one-star Michelin restaurants a few kilometers in either direction."

"Overall, our stay was pleasant. The staff was extremely kind, welcoming, and always willing to help with any questions or requests. Their excellent service was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. The hotel is located about a 30-minute walk from the historic center of Paris, which may be something to consider if you plan to spend most of your time sightseeing. On the positive side, the hotel offers both a swimming pool and a gym on site, which are great amenities after a day of exploring the city. The hotel was generally very clean. However, we were disappointed to find a significant amount of mold in the shower of our room. While the rest of the room appeared well maintained, this issue should be addressed as it negatively affected our overall impression. One thing to keep in mind is that the laundry service is only available on weekdays and is not offered during weekends, which may be inconvenient for some travelers. Despite these concerns, we appreciated the friendly staff and the hotel’s amenities, and overall had a good stay."
