Safe and not Sleepless in Studio City

I felt safe here, which is great because I travel from Phoenix to LA quite a bit and now prefer Studio City to West Hollywood and Beverly Hills. The property is great, totally cute, clean and comfortable. The outdoor area is really clean and inviting. I slept well, which is always a welcome surprise when away from home.

Home exceeded expectations

Honestly, the photos didn’t do the property justice. It was super cute and very tastefully done. The private fenced in yard was one of my favorites. Lots of outdoor space to privately enjoy right in the middle of the city. The inside was beautiful and creative. I loved all the wood and brick. The home was clean, everything was in order and worked great and the host was easy to work with. There was another review from some prissy guest. I’d read it for what it is, just a complainer. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent this home again.

Dreamy Stay

I really enjoyed my time in this property. It is such a unique style with amazing space. The location was perfect and really peaceful. The host was great at communicating with me and overall an amazing stay… I will definitely be staying here in the future!

Scary Farmhouse

The ad promised a two bedroom, one bathroom unit that slept 6. The ad promised all sheets and towels were washed in hot water to 140 degrees fahrenheit. The ad promised all surfaces were disinfected. All untrue except for the number of guests the property slept. First of all, this isn't one unit. This is two separate units--in order to get to the other bedroom, you have to go outside, and re-enter on the other side. And to make things worse, that bedroom did not have a working television or Wifi--as advertised. The icing on the cake was the ant infestation. The floors were filthy. They had not been cleaned let alone disinfected. Our feet and socks looked like we'd been walking the streets of downtown LA when we were merely walking inside the house. There were only 3 towels initially provided--all with tags on so you know they had not been washed. (Later, after they dumped a trash bag filled with some towels, we were told the only towels that were initially in the unit were decorative.) The third bed was a convertible sofa that was littered with crumbs and food remnants. It's like no one bothered to clean anything aside from a quick Swiffer dusting. The dishwasher spewed water everywhere that we had to clean up. When we told the management company, he offered to send over his "clean team," but by that time we were beat and we had already cleaned and sanitized ourselves. Totally tone deaf and unresponsive--only interested in arguing.
