Was Okay
When we arrived we were concerned about the property because the landscaping maintenance hadn’t been done in a what looked to be a long while. The trash cans were disheveled by the driveway. One end of the street had a ton of trash and houseless people wander around and sleeping on the ground. The other end was clean and tidy. When we entered the home we were pleasantly surprised at its first appearance. We found out as we were traveling that they don’t offer washcloths or hand towels for guest use, we bought some the next day and left them for their future guests. Not sure what the expectation is for guests to wash their body without a washcloth. They only had one kitchen towel available to us and zero oven mitts/pot holders. There is no dish drainer, so washing large items required the use of the one towel. The beds were comfortable and we felt safe and comfortable inside the home.
Recommendations:
BBQ Tools
Potholders
Additional dish towels
Leaving a small amount of laundry detergent for guests staying more than a two days (especially with only one kitchen towel for entire time)
House needs a solid cleaning (walls need wiped down and area rugs definitely need cleaned/shampooed or replaced)
Enough paper products (toilet paper and paper towels) for the guests’ stay.
Landscaping needs maintained and home needs sprayed for insects (we killed two black widows outside of the house).
Considerations:
Plastic wrap for food coverage
Identify trash cans to use
