This place is charming and in the perfect location right in the heart of old Loreto adjacent to almost everything. 2 blocks to the water. Think there are only about 8 rooms in the entire place so it's no overcrowded at all. Breakfast is included and has eggs to order, fresh fruit cups, bananas, yogurt and toppings, refried beans, toast, juices and coffee. Will definitely stay here again if we return and recommend it to anyone headed to Loreto.

The hotel is located right in downtown Loreto. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the beach. Breakfast was good and the rooms were nice. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going for the first time to visit.

Hotel 1697 is truly a hidden gem located right off the main plaza. This was our 4th time staying here after trying a few others in the area. The rooms are always very clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff are helpful , the breakfast is delicious, served poolside. What a great way to start your day!

The hotel was in a great location with lots of dining and bar options within blocks of the hotel. The property was clean and service was great. After check out we were able to stow our luggage for a few hours and they ordered us a taxi to the airport with no issues. Would definitely stay again.
