「What a delightful surprise! The staff decorated the room and gifted us with a delicious keylime pie and party favors for our birthday. The place is on it own without other neighboring lodges, but close enough to the attractions and eateries in Islamorada. Rooms and the bathrooms have been recently renovated and spacious. 「We love that the rooms are set up for coffee and light meal prep. Plenty of tables outside to eat at as well and lots of green space for kids and dogs! Rooms are always clean and with late check in codes are shared for easy access to your room.」

「This place is great. Very convenient location in Marathon. We stayed in the adults only building. The adult pool was great. Beach area was very nice. Food at the Rhum House was excellent. Staff was very friendly. And there is Wilma! She is the resident pet cat mascot. A super friendly, female orange long hair cat.」

「Can't get over just how charming the room was. It was immaculate & the staff couldn't have been more friendly. They provided beach towels and kayaks, paddleboards, etc which was a plus. We were very comfortable & extremely pleased. Highly recommend!!」

「Just checked out for my bday celebration this past weekend. Amara is a beautiful resort. Staff is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The property has amenities and activities to indulge in if you don’t want to drive around the keys. Will be back soon. A chill and relaxing reset from reality 🙌.」

「The hotel was in the mist of redoing it's landscaping by adding gaint palm trees and some new boat docks, but it didn't interfere with the overall feel of the place. We enjoyed the free paddle boards and pool. Its also located on a beautiful part of the Keys」

「The check-in was easy and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, the location is great for our trip, the price per night is competitive, unfortunately there was no water pressure in the shower, and 1 of the fan/light fixtures did not have a functioning remote. We have enjoyed stays here in the past, and we hope the team can correct the issues as we would stay here again on future trips if they do so.」
