"We had a 1 bedroom with a king bed and balcony on the main floor. Balcony was just a raised up area outside the bedroom with chairs and a little table but we liked it. It faced the parking lot but we enjoyed people watching from that area and having our Nespresso which was supplied by the motel. Very nice and spacious rooms. Shower was a big walk-in. Bathroom was a 3 piece plus there was another sink outside the main bathroom which allowed 2 people to get ready at once. Good lighting for putting on makeup. Bed was very comfortable but was high off the floor. Air conditioner was very loud. TV’s were a lot of trouble for us. Two remotes for each TV. Confusing for us. All in all I would definitely stay here again. Only 2 short blocks to restaurants, shopping, and swimming. Oh, the gentleman who checked us in was very helpful and came to our room to help us old fogies with our TV situation."

"Very Beautiful home. Had all the necessities. My kids loved it. Their favorite part was the water. They loved swimming in the lake. The view was amazing and the sun coming in the windows was incredible. The only thing was the AC was a bit finicky at night. But the host addressed that by explaining why. We did get low on water and the host was amazing at getting that taken care of right away! The tall grass made for a lot more bugs, but I think they are working on landscaping soon. The property is brand new!! If we find ourselves in the Waterton area again we will be staying at this location."

"The POW hotel was on the bucket list for years. The history, the look and the terrain in Waterton NP made it a must do. It not only lived up to the expectations, but sincerely was a dream come true. The place itself was magnificent, the town and surrounding area were magical, but the employees stole the show. All young people. From 16 year old Arthur, to Blake, Vlad, Amelia, Rosie and Lucky, the employees are what make this place memorable. I felt like these employees could teach Chik-Fil-A a lesson in customer service. Lol Try the dining room, the tea experience, listen to the 7 PM history lesson daily, spend time just looking out those big beautiful windows at Waterton lake, and be transported to a simpler place and time. Great job POW. P.S. complimentary E-bikes, bear spray, etc"

Payne Lake Wilderness Huts - Wolf's Lair

"Pros: The cabin was very clean and cute, inside and out. Very good amount of kitchen appliances, cutlery, towels, bedding, coffee, and tea Loved the wolf decor, neutral palette, vinyl siding floors, and layout of the cabin. Loved the air fryer in particular. Nice storage under the stairs. Well built unit as it was sound proof. The lake was nice and playground area was fun. Cons: No ventilation or fan in the bathroom. No shower in the cabin. Showers were outside the cabin located about 3 min walk away and cost $0.25 every 30 seconds and the showers are not clean. At times the machine eats the quarters and doesn’t produce water even if you follow the rules of waiting for the machine to accept the quarter. Not convenient. The beds too soft resulting in major back pain. This hasn’t happened since Jan 2023 when I last stayed at an air bnb in Vancouver with this similar bed type. There was no tv but that’s not a big deal."

"Beautiful area with wonderful views of the lake and mountains. Sunsets were spectacular! The short drive to Waterton park allowed quick access to the beautiful walking trails and boat tours of Waterton Lake! The playground was great, our granddaughter enjoyed it very much. The evenings were so quiet. The house was clean and comfortable and well stocked with necessities."
