much welcome break from a long road trip

We stayed at this location after a camping trip with my kids, taking a break from a 1200KM car journey. The property is well located in relaxing scenery with a view of the lake, Liz was super friendly and helpful with check-in after I misplaced the details. The suite was clean well equipped and laid, plenty of hot water, tea coffee and Liz provided fresh bread, farm eggs and jam for breakfast. everything we wanted during our stay and so much nicer than a motel

Return trip

We booked with Skeet and Liz for both ends of our trip. Lodging was comfortable and accomodated our family (5 adults, 2 littles). Its location outside of town was quiet and restful, and the drive to town was no more than 10 minutes. They are gracious hosts, and providing fixings for breakfast was a bonus. Can highly recommend their property.

Family of 7

We are a family of 7 :) 4, 6, 8, 10, 10! Liz and Skeet greeted us on the property and were just so lovely. Our accommodations were nicely set up for our family and all the kids and adults had comfortable clean beds to sleep in. The kitchen was equipped with the basics and there was a welcome gift and note :) the towels were adorably folded and enough for everyone. The view of the lake and trampoline for the kids! This was the perfect home away from home for us :) thank you for hosting us all♥️🌟

Nice spot

This was just as advertised. Walked into the suite to a nice bottle of wine and a note from Skeet and Liz. Beautiful view, even had deer on the lawn. Clean, quiet and comfy. We were only there for one night but I would recommend it and would stay there again.

Peaceful and Beautiful

Hosts were amazing and went above and beyond. Greeted us with a bottle of wine and we even got to use their kayaks because they weren’t using them for the days we were there. Place was very clean and the perfect size for our group of 6. The view was just beautiful of the lake and a deer visited the yard.

Weekend Stay!

Property managers/owners were very friendly and helpful. Suite was very clean and spacious. If anything, the description should clearly state that the accommodation is a basement suite (owners upstairs). That would be nice. And the walk to the lake is more than 5 minutes (it's about 10). But really great owners! Would stay again!
