The flying horse inn provides good deal for the guests staying with them. The bed in a 8 people room has curtain and charger. They don’t have locker but only a drawer under the bed. The location is great. Just 5 mins walk from Liverpool street station.

What better place for a pub than right below your room? It was almost always busy downstairs and lots of fun. For how rowdy it can get you won’t hear it from your room. People were reserved in the room for the most part, but I met a few people to explore the city with, and had a really great time. The staff were very personable and friendly. I like how they would take your bags before check in so you didn’t have to lug them around the city all day after travelling. Overall would definitely recommend!

It was a layover stay at an economical rate....built in bar and near Liverpool station for the Stansted express...it iwas a dorm room stay and the bed was comfortable....

Hatte 1 Bett im 4-Bett-Zimmer. Negativ: Kein echtes Hostel. Gepäck muss in einer Kiste unterhalb des Bettes deponiert werden. Kleidung aufhängen nahezu unmöglich. Fenster aufmachen geht, Fenster zumachen geht leider nicht. Handtrockner in Herrentoilette defekt. In der Dusche wenig Ablagemöglichkeiten. Schlafraum Frühstückkaffee mit Wasser und Pulver selbst machen. Frühstück nur von 8 - 10 Uhr. Positiv: Personal sehr freundlich, Pub angenehm, Rabatt für Getränke und Essen. Sehr sauber. Gute Frühstücksauswahl. Über dem Bett Lichtschalter fürs Bett, zwei Steckdosen, sowie Ablage diverse kleine Dinge. Lage sehr gut, da Nähe Liverpool Street Station! Kostenlose Gepäckaufbewahrung.

Pros : Great location, friendly receptionist, love the fact there is privacy curtain on each bed. Cons : Rather small toilet/bathrooms, steep stairs (for those who carry tons of luggage), thin walls (you can hear what people doing outside the hall and toilet) Overall it's a nice stay! De locatie is erg centraal en er zijn veel winkels in de buurt, het ligt vlakbij de underground en liverpool station. De douches waren erg krap en er ontbrak een douchegordijn, ook zat er schimmel op het plafond in de douche... Ook zat er een barst in de bril van één van de wc's.

Value for money

Das Hostel liegt zum ersten recht verkehrsgünstig. Man hat je nach Bedarf die freie Wahl zwischen Moorgate oder Liverpool Street, ist beides nur ca 5min zu Fuß. Diverse Buslinien sind noch näher. Check In ist am Tresen vom Pub im Erdgeschoss, dem Flying Horse. Läuft alles sehr entspannt ab. Dann steigt man die Treppe rauf zum eigentlichen Hostel. Dies ist ein Punkt, der tatsächlich Beachtung verdient, weil erstens schmal und zweitens steil. Schweres Gepäck und oder dicker Bauch machen es da nicht einfacher. Die wenigen Zimmer befinden sich in Etage 2 und 3. Meins (4 Betten) war sauber, ausreichend groß. Abschließbare Schränke, Klimaanlage und Vorhänge an den Betten sind vorhanden. Steckdose bzw USB Port zum Laden des Smartphones etc gibt es auch direkt am Bett. Ich fand das Bett bequem und hab immer sehr gut geschlafen. Weder der Pub, noch der sporadische Verkehr haben gestört. Die Toiletten und Duschen waren ebenfalls im allgemeinen tadellos. Gut, ein WC Sitz müsste Stand gestern mal ausgetauscht werden da der Deckel angebrochen ist. Fazit: gemütliches kleines Hostel, sauber, bequem, safe.
