ホテルスタッフはみんな親切で気持ち良く過ごせました。部屋は構造上横長の部屋でベッドもすごく高くちょっと不便でした。ロケーションも地下鉄の駅から近く便利です。また宿泊したいと思います。

チェックインした建物とは道路を挟んだ別棟の部屋。広くはないがモダンで清潔。バスタブはなし。ただし朝など道路の車の音が少し気になった。

リクエストに応えてくれて大変有り難かった。
最初に通された部屋にシャワーしかないことにガッカリし、「バスタブが欲しい」とリクエストしたら、嫌な顔一つせず、すぐに手配して部屋を変えてくれた。(そもそも、バスタブを最初にリクエストしておかなかった私の落ち度だと思うのに) 変更後の部屋は一挙に広くなって(最初の部屋はすごく狭かった、、きれいでゴージャスだったけど)追加料金発生しないの?と心配になって聞きに行ったが「ありませんよ!(にっこり)」という対応。助かりました。 ちょっと残念だったところ: 他の方も書いていましたが、ベッドが高いのが地味に不便。ちょっと腰を下ろす、とか荷物を広げる、ということが出来ないので。でも、その分清潔なのかも? ホテル周辺の良かったところ: 近くにあるバーが素晴らしい。大変美味しい状態のビールが飲めます。 テスコが近くにあり、色々と困らない。 バービカン通いが目的で行ったのですが、超絶近くて安心・便利でした。

快適な宿泊
地下鉄の駅から少し遠いのが難点ですが、ホテルの雰囲気、お部屋の清潔さ等快適で申分ありません。ホテルのコンシェルジェもとても親切で、場所の案内やミュージカルの予約等親身に対応してもらえ、好感を持ちました。朝食の場所がホテルから歩いて1分の距離であること、サービス料込みで約24ポンドの値段は朝食には贅沢ですが、イギリスの朝食を堪能できます。

主な観光地アクセスには不便ですがユニークで綺麗なホテル。
2回、合計7日宿泊。高い割にサービスが悪いロンドンの中では良いかとおもいます。ただ、日本人が好きな観光エリアにはアクセスが悪い。 タクシー移動される方には問題ない。レストランはバービカンやリバプールストリート近辺に沢山あります。 たまたまかもしれませんが、 以下ネガティブな事も書きます。 別の予約でもデラックスダブルに泊まりましたが、以下こちらで予約したときの体験。 部屋 綺麗なバスルーム、シャワーの扱いに慣れずバスルームがビショビショになる以外問題なし。狭い故、収納スペースが少ないながら清潔さがあり、アメニティも良く高級感もある。テレビのホテル案内が日本語であるが実際は見れない。 つねに、フロント、コンセルジュは気持ちの良い対応ですが頼んだことは出来ていない。 例えば、早朝のタクシーが来ていない(事前に代金は払った)など、致命的なミスも。 サウナの着替えを鍵のない男女共同のジム更衣室に案内され、ここで裸になるの?と、人が来て恥ずかしい思いをした。後に更衣室になるトイレが近くに発見。言ってよ! イギリス慣れしていないと色々にストレスを感じます。 隣で朝ごはんが食べれますが、雰囲気はよい。サービスや味は普通、まだ食べている途中でも急かされる。ルームサービスは普通。 旅行中、色々忙しいので、ストレスは感じたくない。ので、気にしないようにしましたが、思い出すとイギリスのサービスっ、、。と改めておもいます。 清潔さは100点 凄くレビューが高いので期待し過ぎない方が。

ホテルのスタッフがとても親切でした。 また、室内が綺麗で浴室とベットは快適でした。SOHOあたりのホテルは外が騒がしいが、このホテルの周りは中心地のわりには静かでした。 朝食も美味しかった。

親切で快適なホテル
夏休みに5泊利用させていただきました。口コミにあった通りホテルの中は迷路のようになっていて最初は苦労しましたが、スタッフの方が親切に何度も教えてくださったので問題はありませんでした。清掃が行き届いた部屋にはウェルカムフルーツ、アロマデフューザー、バスローブ、アイロンがあり、アメニティーも充実しており長期滞在には嬉しい限りでした。今年の夏は暑かったのでベッドメイキングの際には必ずエアコンを入れておいてくれました。シングルルームでしたのでスペース的には狭かったのですが必要なものがコンパクトに揃っていて快適に過ごせました。滞在中シャワーが水漏れしたのですが、すぐに対応してくれましたので問題はありませんでした。地下鉄の駅にも近く、スタッフの方も皆親切で感じが良かったのでまた是非泊まりにいきたいと思います。

旧醸造所を改造したホテル
ホテルが旧醸造所を改造したもので、上層階に行く道順が迷路の様にも憶えました。その点がネックですが、近道を見つければ大丈夫です。 部屋は清潔(屋根裏部屋なのでスペースはやや窮屈)で快適と言って良いと感じました。ホテル直営のレストランも上等でした。

素晴らしすぎる。
都合で、今も滞在しているが、間違いなく100パーセント以上の得点をつけたい。 確かに、歴史的建造物のため部屋に行く廊下は少し大変であるが、その分、宿泊客に対してサービスがかなり細かく行き届いている。これまでロンドンの5つ星以上のホテルはいくつか宿泊しているが、サービスに驚かされるホテルはロンドン、いや他国でもここ以外に行き届いているところはない。もしここを利用するのであれば、ある程度の日数と、ホテルライフを満喫する方にお勧めしたい。短期では味わえない、かなり奥深さがここにはある。

All in all it was good. But in daylight the room and furniture looked a bit jaded. The bed was comfortable, and the pillows and linen excellent. The bathroom was good. But parts of it needed maintenance. Reception and check in is across the road at the Montcalm Brewery. Would i stay at The Barbican Rooms again? Yes.

This hotel is in the best location for the Barbican and has a historic charm to the building. Our room had a few broken tiles in the bathroom which were a danger and the laminate on the bathroom furniture was peeling and in need of being replaced. Staff were all so very good

Check in at The Montcalm
The only hiccup is that it isn't at all clear where you go to check in. It is in fact across the street at the Montcalm hotel. Everything else was perfect, however, and I had a very quiet room.

A convenient stay when visiting the Barbican

Lovely staff, room was less than expected
The staff were lovely and made us feel very welcome, the room was nicely cleaned and prepared. However, the room had a broken charging port, some light switches weren’t working and the bathroom didn’t have much ventilation. There was also a fire alarm at 2:30 in the morning which seemed to be an accident.

Adequate stay
Entry is via the brewery gates, reception staff were lovely, I was taken to my room right above the pub on the corner. I was worried about noise levels but this wasn't an issue. The room was very cold, the air con was on 26 but seemed to blow out cold air. I experimented with it, even turning it off but it never improved. So much so I was either under the duvet or in the bathroom with the underfloor heating and I generally don't feel the cold. Room was very large but very dated furniture - not 5 star

Check in for the Barbican Rooms is across the street in the Montcalm Brewary. And I was actually put in the Brewary which was fine. Average stay. Did what it needed for 1 night business trip. Was a bit tired and dated but was clean and staff were friendly. I never visited restaurant or gym so cant comment.
