London Break

The apartment was in a great location. Anne meet us on arrival very knowledgable regarding surrounding area. Very clean with all the facilities we needed for a city break Very close to Harrods and subway station for getting around London .

Loved the location and access to stores, V&A museum, and a great pub (Basket of Grapes)! David was great as the site manager…friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again!

Amazing Home Base

We loved our stay here. It was a warm and cozy home base for our London travels. It has everything you could need and is located in a beautiful, safe, and quiet area. The beds are quite comfortable and the unit was very clean. The neighborhood has so many great options for food and shopping. Also there is easy access to two tube stations. We were especially thankful for a great host that gave lots of wonderful recommendations when we arrived.

We had a great stay at the apt. It was overall clean. The host was very responsive and checked in on us throughout our stay. The location is really great and very central to a lot of the locations. The only thing is the small middle bedroom was really dusty. It triggered my child’s asthma which put a damper on the trip.

Perfect Knightsbridge location

Property clean, quant, fully stocked kitchen. Bed comfortable for us. Location makes the property. Short walk to Knightsbridge and Kensington South tube stations, next to Harrods and museums. If you are a big TV watcher, bring your Firestick. We always do to foreign countries.

Great stay in London close to public transport

The apartment was bright and cheery despite being below street level. Neighborhood is very very posh and close to public transportation. We also walked to the Natural History Museum and the V&A.

Stunning property in the heart of Knightsbridge.

This property is an absolute gem. It is in a delightful area, comfortable and well equipped and perfect for a stay that”s just a stone’s throw away from the V&A, the Natural history, museum, and Harrods. The host could not have been more helpful and extremely kind. I would highly recommend staying here and look forward to returning.

Great Location Great Hosts

This was a perfect home base for our family’s 9-day stay in London. Having the driver pick us up after our long day of travel and tell us about the area as we drove to the flat was very nice. Anne was there at check-in to give us more information on the flat and area. The location is close to tube and bus stations and walking distance of many sites. There are many shops, restaurants, and small groceries within walking distance. The flat is well-appointed and the kitchen was nice for making meals. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting London.

Great Experience

Outstanding host, perfect location and great access to public transit. The second bedroom is smaller than expected - no electricity. I had to ask for an extension cord to plug in my CPAP, great thing they had one for us to use. All in all, a great experience, perfect lodging, and great communication. The host is SO helpful and that made me and my parents feel safe.

Lovely flat in central location

This is a lovely flat in a great location in central London. The flat includes a wonderful driver who helped us get to the flat from the airport and back to the train station to leave. It has everything you need for cooking but is near restaurants and museums. The nicely decorated flat has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and has many amenities to enjoy your stay.

Great London stay

The apartment was on a fantastic area, in the middle of Knightsbridge with shops and restaurants, down a quiet street. It was near the tube and buses to get anywhere. Check in process was easy - very friendly contact. The unit was compact but enough for a family with two boys. It was clean and comfortable - someone noted mustiness. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Fantastic location, great host

We absolutely loved both the apartment and the location. Anne was super helpful with all our questions and helped get us drivers. Both drivers were excellent and reasonably priced. One picked us up from the ship in South Hampton the other took us thru the apartment features on the first day and when we left, drove us to the airport. It felt like kid glove service all around. The location could not be more perfect for museums, shopping, and people watching. We had four adults in our party and the apartment size was perfect for our group. We all can’t wait to book this location again!

Fantastic week in Knightsbridge!

The flat worked wonderfully for our family of four and we appreciated all of the communications with Anne/David (David even took us back to Heathrow on our last day!). The location is perfect for exploring central London: Brompton Road is 2-minute walk, where you can catch major buses to take you all over town, and the flat is located roughly equidistant between the Knightsbridge and South Kensington tube stations. There are groceries nearby on Brompton (Waitrose, Sainsbury's) and delightful cafes and restaurants, museums and shops all around in this very tony neighborhood. All of this is combined with a very quiet, beautiful and safe street where the flat resides. The flat itself had all of the amenities we needed, including a washer/dryer and cable TV. We loved our stay and heartily recommend this as a great place to stay!

Excellent location and wonderful hosts!

The apartment is in an excellent location. It is very close to the underground and bus stops and not far from Buckingham Palace. There are some great restaurants nearby, and there is a Sainsbury's around the corner. The apartment is small, but cozy, and perfect for four people. There is an extra futon bed for a fifth person in the living room, and the hosts provide plenty of bedding. If you are a light sleeper though, be aware that the shade in the living room is not room darkening and does not keep the light out. There is a light on the street outside of the apartment, and when the sun comes up, the room is very bright. My daughter had a difficult time sleeping in the living room. The hosts were very attentive and provided good communication. They were very accommodating and even arranged for us to check in a day early.

Great location, lovely area

I'd never stayed in this part of London - great facilities, and lovely to just wander the streets. Very friendly and helpful hosts, arrived to let us in just as the taxi dropped us off. The property was clean, but is starting to look in need of a spruce-up. e.g. the basement entry area and doorway could do with re-painting, the showerhead was missing a couple of nozzles - nothing major, and maybe I'm being picky for a holiday rental. It was perfectly comfortable. I guess we were unlucky with the dishwasher conking out mid-stay, the fridge door not closing properly (to be fixed after we left - hosts were keen to send someone straight away, but would have meant defrosting the freezer and we weren't staying long enough for it to be a problem), and the broken chair being removed to be fixed. I must stress that had we kicked up a fuss, the hosts would have been more than happy to sort for us.

Great location.... but

The location on this property is wonderful and getting around was very easy but this property is in the basement of an old building and only has 1 window with bars on it. Anne was nice and met us at the property and tried to walk us through how to use the oven/microwave but didn't have any written instructions, so we couldn't get it to work. I couldn't get the safe to work either but didn't reach out to Anne regarding this. The driver David, was wonderful and it made getting to the property easy. But... the basement smelled of mold and mildew and was very damp. The bottom of the show had mildew all around it and the grout was dirty and needs to be replaced. We did find a dehumidifier that turned on but wouldn't actually pull any water out of the air. I asked Anne 2 times about getting us a new dehumidifier and she did not even respond to us. This vrbo only has a washer so you have to hang dry your clothes but because it's so damp it takes 48 hours for anything to dry. The little loveseat/couch was the most uncomfortable thing in the world to sit on and really needs to be replaced. The mattresses were not that great either and should be replaced as well. For your next vacation to London I would never use this vrbo again. The smell of mold and mildew and the dampness was not pleasant. Keep looking for a better location for your trip to London.

Perfect flat

The flat was perfect for us. We love the neighbourhood and were grateful that we were able to have our dog with us in the flat. It was charmingly decorated, especially the smaller bedroom which feels like an old sailing ship. Our host made everything so easy and was communicative and responsive. We would definitely stay there again.
