I enjoyed my stay at Balmoral House Hotel. It's been a while since I could stay somewhere that does a full English breakfast! It's very convenient for the local shops, train and tube, especially the Elizabeth line. My room was cleaned daily and the staff are very welcoming.The sole quibble I have is that there wasn't a shelf to put soap and shampoo on in the shower. It's a small thing, but it makes it easier to manage.

The room is clean but needs a table or shelf to organize personal stuff. The location is very convenient to public transportation. The staff are fantastic. I will recommend & come back again.

Balmoral hotel paddington

Comfortable hotel close to paddington Train station. Stayed in a single room, which was clean and tidy. Nice shower. Room was small but perfectly fine for a one night stay. Breakfast was included.

The location was very convenient and the room and stair way areas were all very clean. We hadn't realised we would be on the 4th floor and one of us was nearly 80! Breakfast was passable, more options for cereals would be appreciated, though there was fresh fruit. For London, good value accommodation

Great location, very average hotel. Room was a good size but bathroom was tiny, could hardly use the toilet! Furniture dated and room very basic. Cooked breakfast was fairly poor quality, although they offered fruit and juice. Overall feels like a hostel. Great location near Paddington and Hyde Park.

Weekend rugby trip

Down in London for a rugby weekend and as always stayed in Paddington. It's pretty central and within walking distance of all the sights which was really handy as there was a tube strike throughout our visit. Sussex Gardens is just off the main street and set back from the road by gardens so nice and quiet at night. The hotel was nice and our room was spacious for a twin with comfortable beds and a small ensuite shower and toilet. Furnishings and layout are not modern like the big chain hotels but it is clean and tidy, with daily housekeeping and fresh towels etc and the staff on reception and in the breakfast room were pleasant and friendly. The only downside is there is no lift so it's not suitable if stairs are an issue as the rooms are over 5 floors. We've stayed at a few hotels on this road and they are all very similar in price and facilities and don't disappoint.

Cosy traditional hotel in a good location

Very likeable hotel. Your typical Victorian townhouse conversion with small rooms and steep, narrow staircase. But despite my single room being small, it was good. Bathroom was compact, but was new, clean and very functional. Small cosy breakfast room in the basement. Hotel staff was particularly helpful and nice. The location of the hotel is also brilliant, being a short walk from either Paddington station, Lancaster Gate/Hyde Park and Edgware Road.

Pleasant family stay

The weather wasnt the best but that didnt stop us. Hotel has the ideal location for paddington station and bus routes. Hotel was comfortable but in need of some new decor/furniture. We will be back

Recommended for a short stay near Paddington.

Convenient one night stay near Paddington, room basic but clean and completely fine with small shower room, TV and tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast included, could be better as eggs not freshly prepared. Staff friendly and accommodating with storing our luggage. Recommended for a short stay.
