There are no frills but the layout of the house was perfect for 2 families and it is spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you need. "The house was very well equipped and a great set-up for us. We used all the seating areas, the pool, the grassy garden with the adirondack chairs, the picnic table, the patio table right outside the kitchen. It was so fun. We all enjoyed it so much. The location was ideal! We rented E-Bikes from Libery-Cycle which were awesome. We rode all over the Dordogne Valley on the bike trails. We will recommend this place to all our friends and family. Thank you Chez Suzy and Evelyn!"

"We have had a disappointing experience with this vacation rental. All four of us have suffered from bed bugs. We initially thought we were dealing with mosquitoes. But the bites got so big and painful that it wasn't until later that we realized we were dealing with bed bugs. We complained about this to the landlord afterwards and it seemed only reasonable to us that they would refund half as our holiday enjoyment was seriously ruined. We have not received any response from the landlords."

"Exceptional is probably the word I’m looking for (I’m honestly surprised it’s not rated 5x). A beautiful boutique hotel — much prettier and posher than the photos suggest. The pictures don’t do it justice. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, the rooms are cosy and thoughtfully designed, and the gardens and pool are simply stunning. Breakfast is superb — generous, high-quality, and beautifully presented. Honestly, I’m struggling to find a single fault. "
