"The amenities were useless, the pool was locked up, the sauna is for a fee paid in coins apparently. But the worst thing is that we didn`t get breakfast AT ALL, even though it was also clearly stated as included in the listing. In actual fact we didn`t even see or meet anyone there. NO breakfast kind of ruined it. Even the hot drinks machine wasn`t available, empty trays and food containers... Be aware when you book."

"What a stunning hotel - most people walk by the outside, not realizing that this is an amazing building from the 16th century. A walk into the main lobby, entry hallway and dining hall alone is amazing. The staff was extremely helpful, and the rooms were impeccably historic in detail down to the polished hardwood knotted floors. This place Service a decent breakfast, which was more than adequate for an early start to go see the town. The big plus that people donā€™t realize is that taxis are allowed to come to this hotel right to the doorstep and one does not need to drag suitcases over cobblestone streets, like to some of the other hotels in Cheske Krumlav. Book a stay - except like us, do not stay just one night. Canā€™t wait to come back for a longer stay."
