Cabin was nice, kitchen well stocked for use, pool table in basement was a nice amenity. Scenery after a night snowfall was BEAUTIFUL. Biggest concerns with our weekend stay. Water smell is a issue. I have lived on well water for 60 years so I am aware of hardness issues. So glad we brought a case of water. Bed was firmer than my liking and couch cushions appear to be broken down. Hot Tub Jet 2 button doesn't work.

Cute cabin with all the amenities to be comfortable, cook a nice meal, relax, etc. The property is in a good location and is quite beautiful. We enjoyed the hot tub a lot. It was nice sitting outside and looking at the snow from the hot tub. We enjoyed multiple days of winter hiking in the area and also a very relaxing day in the cabin.I only gave 4 stars for one particular reason. Upon opening the door to the cabin, at arrival, the smell of rotten eggs, which came from the water, hits you in the face. That smell NEVER goes away in this cabin. We had to purchase air fresheners in order to escape the smell. I know firsthand there are ways to combat this issue. I grew up in the country with well water. We would, however, book this cabin again if the water issue was resolved.

Beautiful cabin for a great getaway weekend. The hot tub was so relaxing after our hikes. WiFi worked great & we were able to connect to our Hulu to watch a movie at night. The only complaint I have is the bed was more firm than I care for & it would be nice to have blinds of some kind for the back porch where the hot tub is, just to block the sun setting.

Check in was great! Everything was clean and cozy! We had a small hiccup with the wifi password , but they handled it quickly. The only other thing was the water, it was very irony but other then that a great stay at a great location

Short getaway

The property needs a little bit more loving. We were made aware 2 days before arrival that the hot tub was not functioning, which was an amenity that we were looking forward to. We were offered a minimal discount or could move to another property, but for an additional charge. We took the discount. The dining room table was not wiped off. There were tiny bugs in the sink in the bathroom and on the kitchen counter. The cable did not work the entire last night of our stay. The water, i would suggest, not to use to cook with it. It has a smell and it even turned the white wash cloth a rust color. Overall, the cabin could have been taken care of and cleaned more thoroughly.

The property was as expected. But there were a few things that could have been improved. The place desperately needs a water softener to remove the iron and there were a lot of gnats flying around.(mostly in the kitchen and bathroom) We found dirty dishes in the dishwasher(not sure how long they had been there), but other than that the place seemed clean. The bed was comfortable.

Beautiful setting

Very nice cabin with a beautiful setting. Definitely needs water filtration to cook with as water very rusty. Oddly had no screens when we were there. These items held me back from giving it 5 stars

Nice place

Nice place. Good location. The water was rusty but we brought our own water for drinking and cooking. The wifi was out the whole time which was a bit annoying but we really didn't need it. We would stay there again.

So peaceful!

We had an amazing time at hemlock! My only down side we had was the smelly hard water! Everything else was absolutely perfect!

Beautiful Property

It was a really good location in relation to the hiking around! It was a clean and cute cabin! Only issue was chlorine was really strong in the hot tub and the grill did not work. But overall, a great stay!

This VRBO was fantastic

Everything was fantastic all but the water smelled terrible and was very rusty, the grill burner was terrible and full of greas, other then that what a beautiful stay at our house, very private, clean and fun

Just the right place

After a busy time we just need to be away and be off the grid for a few days. This place did it for us. We had all the things we needed and the privacy to just spend time reconnecting to simplicity and each other. We will plan to do this again.

No snow removal

Couldn’t drive up the driveway due to no one cleaning the snow from the property. Paid all this money just to walk up and down the street in six inches of snow multiple times. Wish they would have called someone to remove the snow so we could have drove!
