Creekside Serenity, our deer-themed Hocking Hills log cabin, is nestled next to a beautiful creek with a small waterfall just beyond the front porch. When the water is flowing, you’ll enjoy the relaxing sounds of the babbling brook, and you’re almost guaranteed to see a deer or two wandering through…

The cabin is nicely secluded just off a chip-seal paved road on a 8 acre wooded hillside property (shared with our Sandstone Oasis cabin).

21+ to rent. AWD/4WD recommended in all seasons.

So pleasantly surprised to feel so comfortable staying at this cabin! It felt cozy and included all the necessary amenities we could imagine needing. The hot tub was a bonus after enjoying hours of beautiful scenery and hiking. It was clean, well taken care of and organized for ease of use. I completely enjoyed my stay!

Great location and home!

Loved the privacy and seclusion of being out in the woods, but still close to everything! The town with stores/restaurants and hiking trails are all within 15 min. The home was so nice. Having onsite laundry was handy! The hot tub was great and the beds were really comfortable! Would definitely recommend!!

We liked the peace and quiet and privacy of the cabin. Having kitchen appliances and other things made it easy to cook what we wanted. It was close to Hocking Hills activities, shopping and food. I wish we had planned to stay longer.

Relaxing getaway, but some things need improving

It is a beautiful cabin in a remote location! Close to all of the cool hiking places. Sitting outside on the porch in the rocking chairs at night while sipping coffee and listening to the whippoorwills and the crickets and the tree frogs was wonderful!

Truly serene getaway

A terrific and charming cabin with a lovely front porch where you can sit and rock, or have a meal while listening to the birds. The place was impeccably clean and well outfitted. The only thing that was a bit off was the hot tub which gave off such powerful chemical fumes that our eyes burned. Otherwise a perfect stay.

Great place would stay again

It was a great place to stay. The only issue was the TV did not work. Not sure if it was the providers end. The manager came and got the fireplace working for us but wasn't able to get the TV to work. The little touches like the message chair, hot tub, fireplace and fire pit were great touches.

We are familiar with the Hocking Hills area since we have been there before and this cabin was located 15 minutes from shopping and restaurants and within 25 mins of Old Man’s Cave. The Serenity Cabin had the key box by the door, and with the code you received in an email the day before, made it for easy entry. A couple minor things to point out, take a bath mat to avoid slipping in the shower and not too much storage for clothes except two small areas for hanging. They did have two luggage tables to use and manage your wardrobe that way. Otherwise, it was a very nice, clean and well kept place to stay and would definitely book again.

Enjoyed our stay a lot, only drawback was the musty smell emanating from the bathroom.

The cabin had GREAT amenities and was located in a great location. The bed was exquisitely comfortable. Improvements : have brighter lamps/lighting as it was very dark even during the day. A stronger exhaust fan in the bathroom would help to draw out the damp musty smell. Amount of dead flies on the upper window sills wasn’t stellar and the baseboards and Knick knacks could use a more thorough dusting. Hot tub did not have chlorine smell so hopefully it was cleaned properly before our stay.
