「It was basic but clean,bed was comfortable was ideal for what we wanted」

「The castle was large and interesting. It was fun walking through the sprawling hallways. The rooms were modernized enough for comfort, yet kept their old charm. There were several peacocks and hens walking about the property outside, which was amusing. The staff was kind and personable. Plenty of free parking. Unfortunately, if you are intending on using the spa facilities, especially massage, facial etc., you need to book much in advance as those were unavailable on arrival.」

「Such a quaint old Welsh building in a lovely rural setting just outside of the market town of Ruthin (it is in the middle of a static caravan park but a very pleasant one). A great location for exploring the many places to see around the area . Rooms are of a good size and well equipped. Restaurant menu was limited but is being updated and the prices were reasonable, as was the bar. Breakfast was enough to keep you going for the day. Never got to use the pool but looked inviting.
