「Very clean, newly refurbished pub in a good location with interesting artistic decorations by local artist who owns the property. Good base to explore this part of the Wales/England border. Comfortable room and excellent breakfast. We ate at the pub both nights and evening meal was also very good. Lovely staff. Parking seemed to be no problem, either in pub's very small car park or on roads in village.」

「On the plus side I thought the staff were very helpful. Our evening meal was acceptable, typical 'pub grub' if I can call it that. However our room was totally unacceptable, small, dishevelled and grubby. 「Nice and pretty room. The breakfast was also good. The only thing not so good was the shower. The water was not strong enough and badly drained. Otherwise, everything was very good.」

「Great place」

「Absolutely wonderful stay at this gorgeous hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Great bed and spacious room. Bathtub, good size bathroom. Food and drinks good too.」

「Very plain room staff are excellent. Breakfast was perfect. Dining room could be better.」

「AVOID AWFUL HOTEL.」

「Great people and breakfast」
