"My wife and I stayed over easter with the grandparents and a 1 year old who was crawling everywhere. The cottage was lovely and we got some great weather. The pool on site was loved by all and an excellent bonus after a day exploring castles in the area. If you have children it's worth a drive out to Folly Farm - adults will appreciate the indoor and outdoor activities and the opportunity to sit a get a drink while the little ones play. "We had a lovely stay at Kingfisher cottage. The grounds of Maesgwynne Mansions (on which this small courtyard of cottages is situated) are lovely; this time of year flowering rhododendrons are a highlight, and a walk around took us past the fishing lake and neighbouring fields with various farm animals. There are fabulous views, and the outdoor swimming pool had a cover enabling us to use it even in early May. very peaceful & highly recommended."
