Beautifully renovated barn conversion set in the heart of the Anglesey countryside
A wonderful location for a North Wales break, this beautifully renovated barn conversion set in the heart of the Anglesey countryside combines a fresh and sleek modern interior with the charm of a historical building. Sleeping six people within three bedrooms, along with a private garden area, Bwthyn Pili Pala is a wonderful base to explore the fantastic sights of Ynys Môn.
Entering the front door of this whitewashed property leads into a fabulous open plan ground floor space. This bright and modern room is stylish and contemporary with a touch of class. A spacious kitchen and dining area off to the left features a stunning fit out set in U shape, including a double sided high bar style dining table. With shaker style kitchen units finished in white with oak effect worktops, a grey tiled splashback around two walls adds a great contrast to the otherwise pale walls. With an undercounter fridge, dishwasher and built in oven with electric hob oven, the kitchen base and wall cupboards provide plenty of storage space and the perfect kitchen environment to whip up some great meals. The dining space is wonderful, with six high stools finished in grey fabric with wooden legs. Perfectly situated within the kitchen space, it provides a social environment for dining, drinking or just catching up on the days adventures.
Retiring to the lounge area across the other side of the room, you'll find a couple of three seater sofas finished in a dark grey and laid out in an L shape, centred around a Smart TV located on a wooden side unit. A modern metal floor lamp provides some soft lighting for the evenings, and the soft furnishings are a mix of grey shades and pastel pinks. The room, as a whole, presents in a sleek and modern Scandinavian style and is a wonderful place to spend your time. An open wooden stairway leads up from the corner of the lounge area to the first floor.
With the property set into the hillside, the first floor of this beautifully renovated barn conversion set in the heart of the Anglesey countryside features a larger footprint than downstairs and comprises of three bedrooms and a family bathroom. With one king, one double and a twin, the layout is versatile for varying groups. Built into the eaves of Bwthyn Pili Pala, the bedrooms are where the character of the building comes to life, with exposed beams, stable doors and small wooden framed windows. The master bedroom, taking up one end of the property, is a stunning space with a pitched ceiling and exposed wooden beams. A king size bed sits centrally on the sage coloured feature wall, with bedside cabinets to both sides also finished in a pale green. With a wooden built-in wardrobe tucked away into the corner, along with a plush side chair, this simply decorated room is spacious, comfortable and bright.
The second double room, while smaller, still retains the sense of charm as the master, featuring a double bed and two bedside cabinets of the same style. With pastel pinks and greys making up the decor of this space, it's sleek, modern and cosy. The final bedroom is made up of two single beds, set to opposite sides of the room to allow added space. Each bed has an adjacent bedside cabinet with lamp, and once again the colour schemes are pastel pinks and greys. The divan beds feature pull out drawers for storage, and there is further storage available on the landing if required. Completing the first floor layout, a bright shower room is beautifully fitted out. With a walk-in shower cubicle, alongside a WC and basin, there is storage shelving for toiletries and a wall mounted towel radiator. Exposed wooden beams contrast with the subtle green walls and a skylight provides natural light into the room.
