The staff were lovely , friendly and always happy to help. It is spotlessly clean and the breakfasts they offer are first class. Hotel in convenient location but looks weary from outside the inside wasnt much better lobby decor and carpets very dated bed clean en suite adequate staff doing best they could on the positive breakfast very good choice of fresh fruit cold meat and cheese and cooked items again dining room weary lots of boxes piled up near check in area would not use this hotel again

The Steps up to the hotel are quite steep and especially for the elderly dangerous needs something doing to sort it out. Breakfast was quite good but the food was not piping hot eggs looked a bit bland buffet style, all in all quite good but would not stay again.

Warm welcome and farewell from the helpful receptionists. Great location. Straightforward to find on-street parking opposite hotel. Spotlessly clean single room, lovely en-suite and well equipped with comfortable bed (I slept like a log), tv, tea making equipment, wardrobe, fan, dressing table. Slightly dated decor but this did not detract from the fantastic experience. Excellent well cooked buffet breakfast. I will definitely stay again.

Great location, just off the front. Staff were helpful and friendly. That’s the good points. Room was small, bed way too small for 2 people. Shower trickled water and was too small to shower with door closed. The buffet breakfast was ok. The bar area is also way too small for such a big hotel, although the staff did recommend the bat in their sister hotel just round the corner
